Meeting His Family

"What if they don't like me?" You say to Justin, your boyfriend of 5 months.

"They will love you."

Today you're meeting Justin's family. You're really nervous because you really want them to love you.

Justin invited them over for lunch.

There's a knock on the door.

"They're here." Justin says excitedly.

You follow him to the door.

"Mom!" He smiles and hugs her. "I missed you."

"I missed you too." She lets go and turns to you. "You must be (y/n). I'm so happy to finally meet you!" She hugs you.

"I'm happy to finally meet you too Miss Malette."

"Please, call me Pattie." She smiles.

"Okay, nice to meet you too, Pattie."

She laughs.

So far so good.

"Come in." Justin says.

You all walk into the kitchen.

"Can I get you anything Pattie? A glass of water perhaps?"
"I'm fine thanks dear. So tell me about yourself." She say while taking a seat.

"Oh, there's not much to tell."

"Really? Justin's alway's telling me things about you."

"Is that so?" You look over to see him blushing.

The doorbell rings again.

"I'll get it." Justin says, leaving the room.

"Thank you for making him happy." She says. "I've never seen him happier then when he's with you."

"Really?"
"Really." She smiles.

Jeremy, Jaxon, Jazmyn and Justin walk into the room.

"(y/n)! Nice to finally meet you." Jeremy says giving you a hug.

"Nice to meet you too Jeremy."

You turn to Jazzy and Jaxon.

"Nice to meet you guys too."

They give you hugs.

Throughout lunch Pattie and Jeremy recall memories of Justin as a child.

Pattie just told an embarrassing one of Justin taking a fish out of water because he thought it would drown.

"Aww." You laugh.

Justin tries to hide his face.

"Well, this has been fun but I think its time to leave." Patty says standing up. "(y/n), I hope we catch up again shortly, I really enjoyed this."

"Me too."

You hug each other.

"Jeremy, I hope to see you again soon."

"Me too (y/n)."

You hug.

"Jazzy, Jaxon, I can't wait to see you guys again."
You have a group hug with them.

Justin's Point of View

We were saying good byes.

I hug Jazzy and Jaxon.

"I like her, keep her." Jaxon says. I laugh.

"I will buddy."
I turn to my dad.

"You've found an amazing woman son, I'm really proud of you."

We hug.

I then turn to my mom.

"She's perfect. I'm so happy you found her."

"Me too."

I hug her and peck her cheek.

They all walk down the driveway as (y/n) and I watch from our porch. I wrap one arm around her waist.

We wave as they drive down the street. Once they're out of sight I pull (y/n) closer to me and kiss her lips.

"What were you so worried about? I told you they'd love you." I smile.

"I'm so glad they did. Your dads really funny and your mom's super nice. Jazzy and Jaxon are so adorable."

I kiss her lips again.

"Come on, lets go inside." She grabs my hand and leads me inside.

I laugh at her struggle to pull me.

I'm so lucky I have her in my life. Now knowing my family love her too, I can't wait to ask her to marry me...
