Good News

After what seemed like ages, the doctor walked out of the room in which Haily was in.

"Is she okay?" Valy asked, nervous.

The doctor smiled and the relief on Valy's face was clear.

"She is totally fine but you need to take extra care for her onwards today" the doctor told Valy.

"Why?..." Valy was suspicious.

"It's nothing to worry about. In fact, it is something very good. She is two weeks pregnant" the doctor spoke. Valy stood still. His eyes began watering.

"Really?" he asked to confirm.

"Yes" the doctor assured him.

Valy turned to Aryanna and Amaan who were also surprised and at the same time very happy.

"Did you hear that? I'm going to become a father!" Valy exclaimed. He was over excited.

Aryanna put her hand over her mouth in surprise.

"I cannot believe this. My best friend is having a baby!" Aryanna shouted in joy as she put her hands around Amaan and hugged him.

Meanwhile, the doctor left and Valy walked in to his and Haily's bedroom. The joy was clear in Haily's eyes. She held her arms out for Valy. He hugged her.

"Not too tight Valy. You will hurt it" Haily giggled. Valy joined her.

He put his two hands on her face and looked in to her eyes.

"You don't realize how much this means to me" he whispered in her ear. Haily responded to him with a smile.

"I have two people to live for now" Valy spoke. Haily wiped her tears away as she pulled away.

"What's wrong? Are you not happy?" Valy asked, suddenly afraid.

"How can I not be happy? I cry when I am happpy. We are going to have a baby" Haily struggled to say, as her tears were in the way.

"I know. I love you" Valy whispered as he brought his lips to Haily's.

Aryanna was still embracing Amaan. After a while, she pulled away.

"Aryanna, I have to tell you something. Something important" Amaan said.

"What?..." Aryanna asks, worried.

"Well basically... I am leaving tomorrow to go back to Venice. I have stayed here for longer than I had intended to and I need to catch up on my work" Amaan spoke. Aryanna's face fell.

"No no no. I am not going alone... you are coming with me. I have already arranged everything. Even our wedding" Amaan told her.

Aryanna felt butterflies in her stomach as she thought about her and Amaan getting married.

"But Amaan... Haily is pregnant, I can't just leave her. I need to stay here in London for at least nine months until she has her baby" Aryanna said. Amaan looked annoyed.

"But baby... Ugh. Okay fine" Amaan gave up.

"Thanks" Aryanna grinned.

Before Amaan could say anything, Aryanna put her lips on Amaan's.

After they kissed, they finally decided to leave.

"Were leaving" Amaan called, just as Valy and Haily came out of the room.

"Haily!" Aryanna ran up to Haily and hugged her tightly.

"I am going to become an aunty then" she said.

"Well yes. I guess all these years I wasn't able to have a baby because god was punishing me for what I unknowingly done to you but I guess god has forgiven me know" Haily replied, smiling.

"Forget the past. Let it go" Aryanna told her and Haily nodded.

"Stay a little longer" Valy pleaded.

Amaan looked at Aryanna, waiting for her answer.

"Sure, let's celebrate" Aryanna finally said.
