Marinette

Pig. An actual pig. Maybe it's good I lost my memory of him. He could've at least have the decency of changing the room when he knew I was coming. Idiot. Maybe I'm being a hypocrite. Wait no I'm not. I'm only a hoe when it comes to missions and my boyfriend. I can call chat a mission.

I put the latch on the door, not even allowing him to open it with the key. I then slid down the door, not even bothering to look at the room. I was with him for one day and I was already in hell. I sighed, putting my hands over my face. I need to put my feelings aside. I need to. I heard him outside the door, knocking softly.

"Mari? Marinette?" He paused, I leaned back against the door even more. "Can you let me in? I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier. I'm sorry for not calling Nino before, telling him you were coming. I'm sorry" I got up, finding the bathroom and turned on the faucet.

Nino. Where have I heard Nino from? Wait. The cats best friend. The Bubbler himself. His assistant. Partner in crime at times, doing the cat small favors. I remember doing a bit of research about him.

I slashed some of the water on my face. Grabbing a nearby towel and wiping my face. Calm down. I stared at the girl in the mirror. Calm down. I took a deep breathe, breathe in, breathe out. I then walked to the door, unlocking it and opening it. He was sitting on the other side of the door, across the way to the next wall. He was leaning against the luggage as well. He glanced back at me, getting up immediately.

"Do you understand I never meant to bring you in bed with me?" My eyes only narrowed.

"I'm sleeping on the couch, well if there is one anyway" Regret filled his eyes. Why? But he stayed silent, walking into the room. Once the door closed he spoke.

"It was not my intention too. Honestly"

"Just. Shut up" he looked as if he'd been slapped. I averted my emotionless gaze away from him, fully walking into the hotel room. More like suite. The room seemed to have taken up half the floor. It had a great view of the city from here, the grey sky setting a gloomy mood. There was a balcony but I didn't even bother to explore that part, the seal on the door was frozen.

I glanced at the rest of the vast room. There was an open arch way to the white bedroom. Thankfully in front of the arch way, was a living room area. A white couch, with white carpets. Looks comfy enough. I sighed, grabbing my bag and setting it next to the couch.

"I can take the couch while you take the-"

"What and take a chance of your crawling on the bed with me? I think not" he gave me a sour look.

"Not that you haven't before..." he mumbled under his breathe. Does he really think I didn't hear them? I bit my lip, stopping myself from saying anything. "I'm gonna...shower. So do whatever you want...I guess" he said in defeat. He went into his suitcase, grabbing some clothes, then disappeared into the bathroom.

All I could do was stare at the door. Until my gaze fell upon my duffel bag. Well the reason I came here wasn't a complete lie.

I stared at the city below me. I was sitting on top of one of the building. The streets were depressing. This whole place was rather depressing. I got out my yo-yo, swinging it so I can cross to the next building. But something got my attention almost making me loose my focus. The car. Our car that we got when we arrived. Where was he going? I stopped my current objective, swinging down to get closer to the street. I can't loose him. I kept going, swinging from building to building, running until my legs were gonna give out. He was going far. Why? His car than began to slow down at a bakery. A bakery? I went down lower, allowing myself to look through the window.

Then he disappeared. What? I changed out of Ladybug, landing on the street. I quickly walked across going into the bakery. There was an older woman, kneeling on dough. This smell was too familiar to me. I snapped out of my daze going up to her.

"Excuse me ma'am. Did you see that man walk in here? Where did he go?" She looked up at me a soft expression on her face.

"Depends on what you call good" my eyes widen. This was a base. Why was he at the base?

"Miraculous is good" she turned, turning a knob on her over. From behind the counter, a stairway had opened up. "He went down there sweetie" I nodded. I quickly descended down the stairs. The place was crowded to say the least. I could see his blonde hair, weaving through the crowd. They created a path for him really, all whispering as he went by. I stuck close to the walls, trying not to get seen by him. He kept going, farther and farther and farther into the base. Then he took a turn to the medical wing. It was labeled as so.

I turned to follow him, following the crowd really. He turned into a secluded room with a window for viewing. Many doctors had surrounded whoever was on the bed, Chat had leaned down, grasping the persons hand. I had to lean over to see who it was. A woman was also next to the bed, it was his aunt. Tikki. But the man on the bed drew my attention even more.

Mr. Fucking Agreste.
