"Marinette? What's wrong?!" His eyes were full of panic, his grip on me slightly falling. It was him. I can't believe it. He left me. He's always wanted me dead. He's always wanted me gone.

"Get away from me!" I struggled against him. His hands had tightened again around mine, not allowing me to break free. My teeth had gritted using it to my advantage. I got my grip firm on him, kicking his knees foreword. He lost his balance allowing me to easily flip him over on his back. He groaned rolling to get off the floor. I started to run. Running as fast as I could.

"Cato!" I screamed. Suddenly the man was in front of me. His face still full of panic.

"What are you doing? Marinette it's me. I'm sorry I left you. Why aren't you happy?" I went to turn away but he was quicker, he grabbed my forearm. "Don't run away from me! Please" his eyes told me he was sincere. Why?

"Help!" I didn't have my weapons on me. I could barley fight back. He had so many more years of training on me.

"Please stop screaming. You going to alert everyone in the building"

"That's the point. Get the fuck off of me!" His mouth had gaped open, his face showing hurt. His stance loosened allowing me to kick him up against a wall.

"Duck!" I ducked down, four knifes flying trough he air. They had pinned Chat Noir to the wall. His eyes had narrowed as I had glanced up to see Cato. He tossed me my Yo-Yo. Cato had helped me up, still staring at the cat, hatred in his eyes. "You got some nerve showing up here cat"

"You! What did you do to her? I trusted you!" He had spat back. What is he talking about?

"I did nothing. It was you that did something. Are you brain dead? Because I was there that day. I saved her as a matter of fact"

"What the hell are you talking about saved her?" Cato's fist had clenched around another one of his daggers.

"Your sorry ass almost killed her! Does your car still have a dent? Some blood on the windshield? Does that ring a bell kitty cat?" His face went white. Disbelief maybe.

"That wasn't me! I haven't seen her in almost two years! You know this!" He had shouted back. His teeth had then gritted.

"Big mistake there buddy. Big mistake. Mari go get some of the others from the institute...we need to get him into a more firm custody"

"Bugaboo, I've never wanted to hurt you ever. That wasn't me. I've been rampaging across the country. You know what happened to me. Please believe me" I didn't know what he was talking about. Why did he keep calling me that? I know I've lost my memories, the confusion on what to do was terrifying. So I did the only thing I knew.

I knew only Cato. So I could only listen to Cato.

"I don't get it...I don't. Why would I run her down with my car?!" I screamed back. They had me in interrogation. Now the gangs form of interrogation wasn't exactly nice. Every time I wouldn't answer a question, they would...beat me. That's exactly what they did. My words had only given me another kick to the stomach.

I was breathing heavily. Why was she so different? Her hair, she let it grow long. Her eyes had went look more tired and lost than the hopeful, innocent eyes I had remembered her by. Her body went from the petite body to a more muscular version. Then she cursed. She almost never had cursed. Never.

"Now I'm going to ask you one more time. One god damn last time! Why did you hit her with your car? Almost ending her life. She went into a coma for a few months right after, because of you!"

"There...there's a...mistake. I. Didn't. Do. It" his teeth had gritted as I looked up to him, straight in the eye. Somewhere inside him he had to know I was telling the truth...right? I then stared at his left hand, laid limply next to his thigh. Then it was moving, tapping into a rapid motion in what seemed a beat. "You still do that? When your confused, frustrated, angry...you still do that...with your fingers"

"Yeah and what? As you can tell I'm fucking pissed as hell" he spat back.

"Cato. We are friends. Marinette is the love of my life. I love her. I would never do that. Never. Please trust me" his fingers had sped up, beating rapidly until they had stopped again.

"Lock him up. I want a guard posted twenty four seven. Do not doubt his ability's" he had started to walk away. Going outside of the cell.

"You know I could escape. I should've escaped an hour ago...but I'm not. And you know why Cato. Because I'm telling the truth" the men next to me had chained me up. Leaving the cell as well. The door had closed, locking. Cato had leaned up against the cell bars, smirking.

"Well your about two years short of retrieving the 'love of your life'. She's already got one who been there for her all this time" he had winked at me, his eyes blazing an orange color. The Bastard.

But all I could do was growl as he went out of view. Why did I have to leave her? If only I didn't bring her to that club. If only if I didn't put her in harms way.

I was drained in my sorrows, the darkness following as they left me in that cold dark cell.
