"Blake?!" I yelled and dropped my gun as I ran to him.

I jumped in his arms and hugged him. "Your alive!"

"And is are you but you have to go, okay?" He said calmly.

"No come with us." I cried.

"I have some stuff to take care of, but I'll find you again." He hugged me once more. "I promise Tope."

I nodded and he ran the opposite way.

"Topaz!" Warren shouted.

I turned around and grabbed my gun off the ground while I walked back to the truck and got in the back seat.

"Who was that?" Warren asked.

"My brother, Blake." I sobbed with tears of joy and fear.

We got back on the highway and I just stared out the window, not saying anything.

"You know where you going?" Doc asked Warren.

"Following the sun." She answered. "It's what Charlie...it's what he would do."

"I hope we catch up with addy and Mack." Cassandra said, changing the subject.

"Yeah I hope so too." Doc sighed.

I felt a hand on my leg, I turned my head to 10k. He gave me a caring look and put his arm around my shoulders. I leaned on him.

"Your going to see him again." He said into my ear.

"I hope so." My voice was shaky, trying to hold back the sobs.

As I sat on the concrete side walk next to 10k laying on his back somewhere in Nebraska.

I'm literally dying of thirst. It feels like one thousand degrees.

Doc then came towards us with an empty bottle.

"I read once that you could drink your own urine. But all I'm pissin is dust." He sighed.

Then we started to hear rumbling.

"What I that?" 10k groaned. "Is it an earthquake?"

"More like a zombie quake." Doc gasped.

I looked up and saw a cloud of dust and black figures of zombies.

"Holy." Murphy said.

"Shit." I added.

10k grabbed my hand pulling my weak body up, and holding me at my waist.

"Goddam guys just won't quit." Warren scoffed.

"I suggest we run for it." Murphy said and stayed to run but he noticed none of us were following.

"Come on, people." He ran in place. "Pick it up."

"I...we can't." Warren sighed. "Too dehydrated."
