•10k's POV•
"So when you gonna tell everyone you two are a thing?" Doc asked me.
"W-hat you..." He cut me off.
"Don't lie to me son." He chuckled. "It's obvious."
I looked towards Topaz where she was sitting by Cassandra and Warren.
"We only kissed once." I sighed.
"So, was it good?"
"Yeah, to me it was." I said. "But that was in Illinois."
"Kiss her again."
I bit my tongue to stop me from grinning. I looked back over to Topaz to see her smiling. Her eyes were blue as the sky and her tan skin just made them brighter.
She still has perfect white teeth and her smile just lights up everyone's day.
She looked at me and gave me a small wink before continuing taking to Cassandra.
•Topaz's POV•
I walked to doc and 10k before doc cuffed his mouth.
"Anybody know Anybody in here named wannamaker?" Doc yelled.
"Who wants to know?" The bar tender asked.
"Oh, we're just lookin to trade." Doc said. "You know just a little business."
"My friend said he might have a vehicle."
"Yeah, wannamaker's got cars." The bartender nodded.
"Do you know where he is?" Doc asked.
The bartender pointed under a table where a man was laying down.
Doc went over to the table and bent down. "Uh, Hey! Uh, hello."
"He's not gonna wake up." A man said. "Once wannamaker's down, he's down."
"Check back in forty eight hours."
"Well what about you?" Doc asked him. "You look like a car man."
"I don't drive cars, I drive machines."
"Any, Uh, any machine you'd be willing to let go of?" Doc said.
"Depends." The man shrugged and looked at me up and down. "What do you got to trade?"
I gave him my middle finger. "Don't worry, darlin'. You're not worth it." He said in a cocky tone.
"Ain't nothing as sweet as the formanmobil."
"What about that 50 caliber first prize?" Doc asked.
The man let out a laugh. "Even if you do win, and that's a big if, the formanmobil is not for sale."
"Bio-diesel." He added. "Solar power, quiet as they come."
"Kitchen, bathroom, fully regenerative internal plumbing system complete with marine grade PEX fitting."
