The Missing

It all started one morning. The events leading to one of my greasiest fears and hardest battles.

The night before, Rias and the ladies of the occult research club and Chisato, stayed behind at schools to do some work so that meant that they weren't coming home immediately. They still hadn't returned by the time I had gone to sleep, course I assumed that they were pulling extra summons.

The morning after.

I wake as if the gravity was pretty normal, which it was because no one was on top of me.

I walk down the stairs to the kitchen to see if they were there, but no such luck.

"Say, mr. Javes, have Rias and the others come back at all, last night?" I ask one of my Butlers.

"No sir, I'm afraid that you're the only one who returned home and no phone calls have been made." He says.

"Maybe they're already at the school and I'm just being paranoid." I say to myself.

I eat my breakfast and make my way to the school and to the occult research club building.

"Hello? Rias? Akeno? Anyone here?" I call, but no answer was heard, just complete silence.

I go out to find Sona and Tsubaki.

"Yo Sona!" I yell.

"Yes, What is it (y/n)?" She asks.

"Have you seen Rias and the others last night or this morning because they didn't come home and they're not in the club room." I explain.

"I haven't. I did see Kiba and Issei, however. And Gasper should still be in his box in the room." She says.

"Gasper, of course." I say and return to the building and go to Gaspers special room.

"Hey Gasper, you in here?" I ask.

"Is that you, (y/n)?" Gasper says in his box.

"Yeah it's me. Come out of your box. Let's talk."

He comes out of the box and we sit on the bed and I wonder why he even has it if he sleeps in a box, but whatever.

"Rias and the others didn't come home last night. Have you seen them leave the club last night?" I ask.

"Sorry, They we're still here when I fell asleep and you just woke me up. I'm sorry." He says.

"Don't worry about it." I say and dial Kiba and Azazel to tell them to meet in the club room.

"So Rias and the others have been missing for over half a day? No calls, no message, no trace." Azazel says.

"Nothing. I'd think I'm just being paranoid, but They would've called to let me know if they weren't coming home so I'm getting really worried." I say.

"This is problematic and we have no means of reaching them." Kiba says.

"Hey guys, look what I found." Issei says getting a box full of everyone's cell phones.

"That answers why my calls go straight to voicemail. They've been in here and turned off."

"You think something could've happened to them?"Issei asks.

"That's exactly what you should be thinking." A voice says and a magic circle appears and a few familiar faces appear.

"It's Phantom and his peerage." I say.
