KAYDIN OPENED HER EYES, GASPING FOR AIR. Ashton, Icis, Justice, Michael, and Calum were around her. She whispered dryly,"What just happened?"

"You don't remember?" asked Ashton.

Kaydin remembered being in a peaceful sleep,"I thought... didn't I... die?"

"Yes, you did." said Icis.

"H-how?" Kaydin looked at her hands and feet.

"We injected you a serum into you. You're alive." said Michael.

"This is not good." said Kaydin.

"Why would you say that? You're alive!" said Justice.

"The dead should stay dead." said Kaydin.

"We couldn't lose you." said Calum.

"I couldn't lose you." said Ashton.

Kaydin looked at him,"Do you hear that?"

"Hear what?" asked Icis.

"That sound? That thudding sound?" said Kaydin, looking down at her chest,"It's coming from in there."

"Sweetie, it's your heart." said Ashton.

Kaydin nodded her understanding but did not speak.

"I have you back." Icis teared and reached for her.

Kaydin accepted her hug and gasped when tears rolled down her cheeks,"What? What's happening?"

"You're crying." Michael chuckled.

"We need to to teach you all the basics again, but we're more than willing." said Justice.

Kaydin breathed in when her chest started to burn,"What am I doing now?"

"Breathing, love." Icis touched her cheek.

"My heartbeat sound is so loud." said Kaydin.

"You always had a strong heart." Ashton kissed her forehead.
