My Urge to write

The urge is overpowering,

I can not resist,

I need my book and pencil,

I need to write.

But what about?

That’s the question

I normally write what’s on my mind

But today my mind is blank

What can I write about?

Innovation, change the world, or suicide?

My thought process is dead.

I’m happy so I can’t write,

But I need to,

Release this feeling

And so this is the product

Of my thought process!

I could write about my boyfriend,

Or my friends across the globe,

Or my friends right out my door,

Or my family or even me.

But today that’s not good enough,

So here is the product of my thinking,

Sitting in class writing this

I’m thinking I should pay attention,

Or, maybe not!
