Don't Blame Me

What did I do?

You started this fight

Why must I end it?

You say it’s my fault

When you were the one meddling

In my life and relationship

What do you say

To a friend who you are fighting with

Over a stupid excuse?

How do you live

When the person you sit next to

Wont look or talk to you?

What must you say

To stop a fight that includes

All your other friends?

You say I made them

Choose sides,

I just told them what’s going on

They did the rest

I didn’t force them

They agreed with me

Now we are separated

By a friend whose caught in the middle.

You will forgive and forget

Everyone else except for me,

But how can we settle this?

You attention seek

You say you break down

But every time I look at you

You’re happy and laughing

I don’t say I break down

But this can’t get off my mind.

I see you in the morning

Say hello like we use to

But all I get is silence and you walk away.

I run out the door ignoring

Everyone and everything

I want to get out of this

I need to get away!

History repeats itself,

That is true,

But you don’t know anything.

You are an attention seeking

Person who doesn’t know

When something’s gone to far.

I have ears on the inside,

They tell me you forgave them

Why wont you forgive me?

I thought we were friends

If this is what it takes to damage the friendship

You just ruined it.

This is goodbye,

Don’t talk to me

If you’re going to act like this.

To keep friends

Don’t meddle where your not wanted.
