"bye!" i closed the door and ran upstairs to my room

i took a shower and threw on light wash overalls with a black shirt underneath and black combat boots.

i left my hair down and left the apartment complex,

"bye nina" i smiled at the lady who worked at the front desk

"bye loren" she returned a smile

i got into my car and drove around new york stopping at each store i see with dresses,

and nothing.

except this one store, surprisingly.

"hello, how may i help you today" this kind young lady told me at the cash register,

"yes hi, i'm looking for a dress for my friend. she's attending the met gala tomorrow" i told her

"judy!" she called back

a lady with measuring tape around her neck wearing a long black sleeved shirt with some jeans and converse

she had glasses and her hair in a messy bun, she was old but not too old looking

around her 40's probably?

"what is it bailey" she said,

"help this young lady look for a dress for her friend. she's attending the met gala tomorrow" said so called bailey

judy's face lit up and she signaled for me to follow her and i did

"i have a variety of dresses back here, a lot of them seem like something your looking for so pick" she smiled as she led me to a room which had lots of dresses hung

"thank you" i returned a smile back

she nodded and walked out, i sighed as i started looking through the dresses.

y/n told me charles was wearing a
nude colored suit

but the lady had 2 beautiful gorgeous dresses i just couldn't decide

so me being me i bought the 2 dresses and left the store, it was 7:29 pm

i put the dresses in the back seats of my car and made my way back to the apartment

i walked inside my apartment and y/n was sitting on the couch with popcorn watching gossip girl

"hey" i said as i closed the door

"oh hey" she said and got up walking towards me

"ok listen i bought 2 dresses bc i didn't know which to pick so, your gonna be the one picking what to wear" i said and she nodded

"thanks loren" she said and hugged me

"no problem" i said hugging her back
