Apparently, Taehyung's lava has burnt down half of the fortress to debris, causing a great loss for Bogum as he has to rebuild his army again. For the plan, which the Councils have decided, it fails eventually. My sister has told me about Taeyong's intention to save Jaebum-oppa and kill the Devil. Hence, he is the most trustworthy person for me in Hell right now.

Of course, my sister is one of them as well.

By now, both of us are transferred to the North Wing of this fortress, living in one of the rooms there. Yes, I'm sharing a room with my sister, for she can take care of me when Bogum is away. How ironic.

"Dee," calls my sister softly as I meditate. "Are you cold?" She asks while spreading the blanket across my shaking figure before I can even answer.

"Thanks, Ley." I force out a smile. "You're the best sister of the world." I state while hugging her. "By the way, how did you end up here, in Hell?" After seconds of eye-battling, she heaves out a sigh.

"It's a long story." She says. "You will feel angry about this if I freaking tell you..." She mutters while positioning herself again with the pillow. Flipping a page of her book absentmindedly, she looks lost, as if she has lost in her thoughts, thinking about something which anticipates her nowadays.

"So tell me then." My words slap her out of her reverie as she looks up from her book. Her eyes glowing in concern.

She takes a deep breath and closes her eyes. Not long after, she spills out the whole story for me and the best I can do is listen.

"So this is how you met Bogum?" I confirm, surprised by my utterly calm reaction at the same time. Hurley bites her lower lip and nods in reluctance, unwilling to accept the fact. Sometimes, I would feel pity for her as the reason she ends up and being stuck in here is obviously because of me. Simultaneously, guilty rises in me when I manage to see through my sister's memory through her practiced power.

Yes. Through the practices given by Bogum everyday since I was in Kyupid, Hurley has gained her power to read and even see through her siblings' mind. Hence, this is how she tells Bogum about my approval to marry him. Regarding to this point, this is why my sister feels sorry for me too, for marrying a guy I don't love.

By the way, Bogum has said that he wants to treat me for a meal later, which doesn't really excite me. I remember seeing his excited and satisfied face while telling me this, but somehow for me, my face shows no emotion upon this at all.

It's been three weeks since our marriage and I haven't even shared a single same room with my husband. Such fact makes me feel both relieved and annoyed. Relieved because I would have my goodnight sleep without him and annoyed as in he doesn't really care about me these days but rebuilding his kingdom.

Yup, a king is always busy. Not to mention the Devil of Ak Yeon and the Great Council of Hell itself.

Soon, a knock on the door breaks my school of thoughts, making our heads turn toward the sound's source. The door opens with a slight squeak, indicating that the hinges are already rusted. "Hey baby." It's Taeyong, he's talking to my sister which makes me feel a little jealous at the same time.

"Hey." My sister closes the book placed on her lap after putting a bookmark at the last page she has read. "What brings you here?" She queries, triggering my previous sweet memories when sharing moments with Taehyung. I used to talk to him this soft before leaving him entirely like right now. But sometimes, I can't even manage to distinguish whether he's the one who abandons this starcross relationship or I am.

Occasionally, things get complicated when evilness and goodness are mixed together, confusing the conscience out of you.

"...mistress?" Taeyong's call pulls me back from space, drawing my attention to him finally.
