Heidi

Taehyung has specially prepared a bedroom for me in his castle. Unlike the room where I'm cuffed in before, this room has a curtained bed at the edge. Besides, there is a huge closet being set in front of the bed and a vanity by the side.

All the wooden products are painted in ivory white while the walls are painted pink. Pink, my most favourite colour, though some boys do love pink too for example Taehyung's hyung, Seokjin-oppa.

I pounce onto the soft bed and land on it flatly. "Ahh, this is so perfect! Kamsa hamnida, Taetae-opp..!" I try to act like a person who doesn't want to go home now, but Taehyung's eyes widen as I seize my voice all of a sudden.

"Bo?(What?)" He doesn't look angry or happy, it's an expression which is hard to explain how one feels. I freeze and remain seated on the bed as I eye the approaching Taehyung with my stiffening nerve. My heart races with its nervous beats, sending rapid pulses of blood throughout my body.

"Nothing." I manage to smile at him naturally. "It's just...I felt something under the mattress." Stroking the most comfortable bed in the world, my shaky gaze is directed towards Taehyung's scorching black orbs, which are turning from Prussian blue to sky blue.

"Listen goma(small kid), I don't wish to create any house rules here. So cheybai(please) don't make me." His stiff tone contains a great load of warning signs. What's the problem for calling him oppa anyway? Is there any story behind this? Nevertheless, I nod quickly without hesitation, making Taehyung's eyes narrow but soon turning back to friendly once again. "Good." Then, I watch as he walks away and towards the door.

As I've been left alone in this luxurious bedroom, I heave out a sigh of confusion and frustration. After meeting with his sister, Taehyung has been weird and his gaze on me is no longer how they are as the beginning. Those are alarmed gazes which makes me feels like an innocent looking criminal.

Taehyung

I close the huge room door and sigh while casting a lock spell on the knob. My sister's words keep ringing like fire alarm in my head, banging and echoing against the walls of my defenseless brain.

"That unnie has our blood, oppa. She just haven't recognise it yet. But when she did, she will turn against us. And by that time, you have to kill her, for your own sake."

My yeodongsaeng's tone sounds really serious especially when she speaks the last sentence. Knowing that Eon Jin will follow me secretly in order to make sure that I'm awared of the girl, I have to act like an another person towards Heidi, keeping her safe from my crazy siblings.

They've tried to kill her once. I won't let this happen again, not ever though she isn't my soulmate. Turning away with the letter kept inside the pocket of my hooded jacket, I take a brief walk towards my bedroom which is nearby. The door squeaks when I push it open and lock myself in.

The letter goes loose and it falls to the ground like a dead leaf. The paper unfolds eventually, making the whole page to be visible now. My eyes read the last sentence accidentally and a gasp escapes from my lips.

Hope to hear about your new life.

No. I have to keep Heidi's presence here as a secret. Heidi should not be following me there that day. I don't know why am I acting selfishly all of a sudden but the feeling of someone may harm her kicks my head hard.
