I made a motion to cut it and he looked at me with a mortified expression.

'How dare you', he said in a mocking voice and I rolled my eyes at him.

'This is my trade mark!', he exclaimed and I shook my head at him as I continued to explore the house again.

'Oh, there's one thing I forgot to mention. There are only three bedrooms here, so you might have to bunk with one of us', he said.

I pointed to his sister's photo which was quite obvious from the graduation attire.

'Oh, Gemma has her boyfriend staying over as well', he said and my eyes widened.

'There is my room. My bed is spacious enough', he said and I watched as the corner of his mouth tugged a bit to the sides.

He wasn't serious, was he?

I gulped a bit and I was pretty sure my heart rate had accelerated to a hundred.

Suddenly he dropped his serious facade and erupted into a fit of laughter.

I grabbed a nearby pillow and hit him on the head with it in frustration.

'Your face! Oh my gosh you should have seen your face Val!', he exclaimed and I pouted as I crossed my arms.

Honestly, I felt a bit embarrassed and maybe even a bit hurt by the way he was teasing my feelings but I knew he was simply pulling my leg, but he didn't know that.

I let the small emotion break through and sure enough, a tear fell and he was quick to notice as well.

Almost immediately his laughter stopped and he came near me.

'Oh my gosh, Val', he said but I took a step back.

'Look I didn't mean to hurt you', he said and I bit my lip so I wouldn't loose my cool.

'I was lying about the bedroom! We have a guest bedroom!', he explained frantically and I took that moment to erupt into a fit of giggles to which he stood stunned at.

'You tricked me!', he exclaimed and I grinned at him.

'But you cried!', he exclaimed.

I waved my hand at him and he shook his head.

'Fine, next time you come crying, I won't believe you', he said defiantly and walked away into the kitchen.

I groaned at how childish this was becoming and so I followed him but I was confused to find the kitchen empty.

Where did he go?

Out of nowhere, I felt two arms around my waist and I was trapped but before I could scream I heard a familiar laugh.

'Call truce', he said and I tried to wriggle free but he clearly had a stronger grip.

'Valentina, call a truce', he said struggling to keep me steady and I somehow managed to stand to face him but the second I met his eyes, I stopped fighting him.

'Truce', he said and felt my breath hitch.

I watched as Harry's eyes looked down at my lips and our current position was not helping me a bit. I didn't want to move and I could tell that he didn't want to either.

His hold on me loosened and instead, he stood me properly but we were still dangerously close to each other.

I wished I could say something but honestly, even if I was capable, I don't believe I could have even uttered a word at the moment.

His eyes searched mine and I watched as he dipped his head a bit and how his lips seemed to be finding their way towards mine, causing my hold on his shirt to tighten even more.

'Oh!'

I jumped at the new voice and quickly looked up, only resulting in our heads colliding.

So much for a romantic first kiss.

Harry groaned as he rubbed his forehead but I was too busy trying to take in the fact that his Mum was at the threshold with a very surprised expression.

I had made a very good first impression indeed.

Wait.

What?

What on earth was I possibly thinking of? Romantic kiss? First impression?!

I wasn't supposed to feel any of these things.

Harry Styles, what have you done to me?
