Chapter 38

HARRY

'Let's finish all the land rides first', said Niall as we walked through the theme park.

'Hell no, water slides', said Louis with a glint in his eyes.

'Well they won't let you on the land rides if you're wet', pointed out Liam and he groaned.

'What do you want Val?', I asked but all she did was stare at the massive roller coaster before us as it took a huge plunge downwards.

The lads were quick to catch on and they didn't waste a second to mock me.

'Care for a ride, Haz?', laughed Niall and I glared at him which caused Valentina to look at me confused.

'Yeah, Harold, why don't you explain it to her?', cackled Louis.

'Go ahead, I bet you're dying-' 'He's afraid of fair rides!', finished Louis proudly.

'No, just fast ones', I said through my teeth.

'Keep tellin' yourself that mate. You wanna find a merry go round?', he asked and I threw my hands up in defeat.

'Pick something on the ground Val, like bumper cars or spinning cups', mused Niall.

'OKAY FINE!!', I exclaimed and they laughed at my embarrassment.

'I'll get on the bloody ride and you know what? I'll even sit in the front car', I said using every bit of courage I had.

'Well done Styles', said Louis as he patted my back and lead the way to the ride.

This was a mistake.

I have just determined my cause of death.

'Not getting cold feet now are we?', asked Josh who sat beside me as the ride slowly ascended to the top.

'No?', I squeaked and then, my car, the very first car, took a deep plunge.

Fuck.

I decided to keep my eyes shut and held onto the safety bars for my dear life as I felt every single jerk and turn.

Harry! How are you doing?!', shouted Liam who sat behind us.

'GET ME OFF OF THIS!!!'

My insides felt out of place as the ride slowed down and then it stopped.

'Harry, get out'

I opened my eyes to find everyone else looking down at me with a very amused expression as they stood on the platform, while I on the other hand sat hugging the safety bar.

'Is it over?', I asked shaking a bit.

'Yeah, now out before the next ride starts', said Liam and I was on the platform in a second.

Valentina looked at me with an amused expression and I rolled my eyes at her.

'What next?', I asked.

'SWINGS!', exclaimed Niall.

This should be safe, I mean swings, what's so scary about-

Apparently this swing rose 20 ft into the sky and spun you around as well.

'I'm gonna baby sit Lux', I said slowly backing away.

Valentina held my hand and looked at me with concern.

'You guys go on or you'll be singing my solos as well', I said and she shook her head with a small laugh.

'Go, it'll be fun. I don't want you to be left out', I said and she sighed as she let go of my hand and walked away with Lottie.

I stood beside Paul and watched as the ride rose from the ground and spun them around at different heights.

Yeah, that ride would have made the next MTV headline.

'Harry Styles dies on fair ride'

Even if the ride didn't kill me, I'd be dead by the embarrassment of being papped while throwing up my insides.

'Hey, I'm just going to get a soda', I said and Paul nodded.

'Don't wander far', he said and I nodded.

As i stood in line to buy my drink, I felt someone tug at the end of my shirt and I looked down to find a wide eyed little girl who seemed to be Lux's age.

'Hello', I said amused at her expression

'Are you Harry Styles?', she asked and I felt a smile tug at my lips.

'At your service, mam', i said bowing at her and she giggled.

'Could you sign this?', she asked and held out a napkin and pen.

'Yeah sure', I said as I crouched down to her height.

'What's your name, love?', I asked.

'Lisa', she said shyly.

'Well it's nice to meet you Lisa', I said as I autographed her napkin.

'I love you', she said and then placed a small kiss on my cheek.

'Thank you Lisa and I love you', I said as I hugged her and planted a kiss on her little head.

As soon as Lisa left another girl appeared and then another and another and before I knew it, I was being mobbed.

Oh joy.

'HARRY!'

'OVER HERE!'

'I LOVE YOU!'

'HARRY!'

I could feel myself sink from their pushing and I quickly took out my phone to speed dial Paul.

'OI! OI!', yelled a voice that made all the girls turn because there was only one person who they knew that would say that.

'HARRY! YOU ALIVE?!', asked Louis.

'I'M NOT SURE!', I replied.

'Hello lovely people! It was nice meeting you!', he then exclaimed and before I knew it the crowd of girls were running to catch up to them.

I sighed out in relief as they left me and as I prepared to make a run for it, Paul grabbed me and escorted me quickly to the van.

'Wait, the others! Valentina!', I exclaimed trying to fight him.

'Harry, you will sit inside this van and not leave', said Paul sternly.

'But Val, she doesn't-', I started.

'Harry my first priority is to keep the five of you safe, so you would be doing a huge favour for me right now if you just remained here. Leave Valentina to us, we'll find her', he said and then slammed the door shut making sure to lock it as well.

I thrashed at the car seat frustrated at the fact that Val was out there in that mob and she wouldn't know what to do. All I could do was hope was that the lads were with her and that she would be safe.

I then noticed my cell was ringing and as I picked up I was a bit surprised at the name.

'Zayn?'
