Feelings reaches the surface - Raphael

It had been on for quite awhile. You didn't know what was wrong with you. Everywhere you looked something seemed to remind you of Raph and you couldn't help but wonder why. The dude you just passed on the street? Well Raph was way more muscular than him. The bike you saw out of your window? Raph's bike was cooler and faster. 

You were completely clueless and were pretty annoyed that you weren't allowed to have one single thought for yourself that didn't include him and his handsome face. You didn't get any hint, before you one evening were home eating dinner with the rest of your family.

You sat at the table, sticking your fork into one of your meatballs(If you're vegetarian, you can change it to a carrot ;)), not really feeling like eating.  Your relationship with your 'parents' hadn't gotten much better, but however your mom had picked up on your odd behavior and smiled at you.

When you finally looked up and noticed, you grumbly asked: "What?"

"Can we know who's the lucky one?" she winked.

Since you let your answer stay a confused 'what', your dad tried to explain. "Who's the lucky guy whom have stole our daughter's heart?"

"It's alright if you won't say. I remember first time I fell in love too..."

Interrupting your mom, you pushed out from the table hard, making the chair you before had sat on fall. "What? Fell in love?! I'm not in love! And it's none of your business if I was, which I'm not!"

You stormed off with your family looking surprised after you and your mom saying to your dad: "She's in love", before you slammed the door to you room shut and frustrated laid in to your bed. What would they know? They knew nothing at all about you.

How silly would it be if you actually were in love? Why should you be in love with a giant ninja turtle and his stupid tough-guy-soft-guy issue? Why would you love the fact that he liked the real you? Why would you even care if his strong and safe arms were holding you or not?

Sadly you came to the realization your mom were right.

I'm in love, you thought, with Raphael.

Raph's POV

I immediately knew something was completely wrong as soon as I let Mikey's usually goofy outburst slip unpunished. (Y/n) had been on my mind a lot the last couple weeks, but I hadn't let it effect me much. At least not while they were around. The others on the other hand had been spacey a lot. Today's training run must had been my turn.

We sprinted over New York's rooftops as always and looked out for any suspicious things we should take action of.  Mikey cartwheeled the whole way till we all stopped and looked down on the streets to find a kid dressed in green with a red tophat.

"Yo! Guys check it out, this guy is a fan of yours Raphie," Mikey grinned. Normally I would have snapped something back at him, but I wasn't really listening. I just nodded and continued prolonging my line of thoughts. It was unusual for me to be so passive about stuff, but I couldn't really help it.

For once I couldn't converse with my fists. I couldn't fight what got into my head. Unfathomable things like how I loved (Y/n) could stand up to my attitude, the way she was like me, that she had a girlish and boyish side that I both knew, popped with no reason up in my mind.  She wasn't like other girls, she was special.

I widened my eyes when I realized the reason for my sudden thinking. It was unbelievable much alike the same things Casey told me about before he became a 'thing' with April...

I've fallen for someone. I've fallen for (Y/n) (L/n).
