Hayden's POV

Cole had went out with Dana, Gabe, and Will to pick up some dinner. That means I was left with Dalton.

"Wow its so weird to see how far you an Cole have come." Dalton says.

"Yeah I guess." I tell him.

"Hayden wanna tell me something about that tree in the back." He says.

"What about that tree?" I ask.

"Why does it say goodbye on it?" He asked sitting next to me.

Thats a story I dont want to tell.

~Flashback/ Story telling~

(The day I was told goodbye)

I got a text from Cole asking me to come over. I walked over to Cole's. He didnt live to far from me. He was waiting for me in that backyard under the tree.

"Cole is everything ok?" I ask him.

"Yes and No." He says.

When he says that it means something good will happen but also something bad .

"Cole you can tell me anything." I say to him.

"Im Moving to LA." He says.

I could feel my heart break. I didnt want to lose him but this is what he wanted to do.

"Ok have fun. Also when your a big star dont forget about me." I say holding back tears.

"I would never forget the one person I truly care about." He says.

"Thanks so when do you leave?" I asked.

"2weeks." He said.

I didnt want to think about that any more. The pain was still there.

"Come here." Dalton says.

He pulled me into a hug. He made me feel like no one could hurt me.

Dalton's POV

I had to hug her. She was upset.

"Hey wanna know my story the day I laid my eyes on you?" I ask her.

She just nodded.

"She is very smart and pretty. She fun. We've been best friends since 1st day of 1st grade." Cole says for the millionth time.

All we hear is that.

"Dude are you like into her?" Dana asked.

"No.. Why... No!" Cole says.

"Your into her." Will says.

"Fine I've been into her since like 3rd grade." Cole admitted.

It was finally the day we were going to meet the girl. Once she came down the stairs and I knew one thing. Cole was right she is perfect.

"Wow thanks for that Dalton." Hayden says.

"I knew it would kind of make you feel better." I tell her.

She then started to cry more.

"What is it?" I ask.

"What if I never ran away? What if I stayed?" She cried out.

I pull her close to me.

"No what ifs. If you hadnt you would have feels for Cole that would find away out. That way might have ruined everything. You know how you feel and you can tell him. So just remember if you had stayed who would have really gotten hurt?" I say to her.

"Thanks Dalts. I need that. She says hugging me.

"What is going on in here?" Someone yelled.
