"Where Malachi!?" I asked him grabbed his shoulders "I don't know, he scurried away when I saw him but I saw him Abigail, I saw him" he cried and I looked out into the distance. People were just a swarm of colours and laughter and I couldn't even distinguish between them all.

"Which way did he go Mal?" I said to him and Mal pointed straight, right into the crowd.

Taking off I began to push my way through the crowd, I don't know what I was expecting to find but I kept moving. I could feel my crown slipping and people giving me weird looks but I couldn't help it. I was on a mission:

To find the monster that ripped my family into unfixable pieces.

I don't think I was paying to much attention because I felt my body collide with something. Or someone.

"God Abby are you alright?" I looked up to see Hugo who gave me a gentle smile and had his hands placed in the crook of my elbows, keeping me steady. "Yeah I am...but did you see anyone come through here, someone who wasn't supposed to me" I grabbed his arms a little roughly than I should have and for a split second he looked scared.

Like I would actually hurt him.

"Abby...I'm not from your pack, I don't know who's supposed to be here or not..." and I internally smacked myself of course not, he's a guest here. He probably wouldn't know my people from the Ruby's.

"Hugo I need to..."
"No you don't you need to calm down and enjoy the company okay? Your a wreck and whatever your trying to do won't be achieved when your like this" I couldn't help but nod as Hugo lead me over to a chair and I sat down.

"I'll get you some water okay?" He walked off and I clutched to my head, god I had a headache.

"Abby!" I looked up to see Harry who looked concerned and I could feel his worry. "What's the matter? Are you alright?" He bent down and grabbed my hands "I'm fine Harry just...overexerted myself" I smiled weakly and I hoped Hugo would come back with that water soon.

"Is it everything you hoped?" I asked Harry and he nodded "it's weird I mean I thought I would always just be ordinary Harrison Grace but now I'm apart of this community and I have this beautiful girlfriend who happens to be a queen, I mean I think I won't ever be ordinary after this" he smiled and I couldn't help but do the same.

Although he was happy there would always be people who would challenge his right to rule the werewolves but for now he deserved to be ignorant of it all.

I looked around and saw people laughing and dancing and some had even come up to congratulate me (even Tia's sister Louise and Louise's mate Ellis and her aunt Victorie) it was weird seeing everyone even the Saffrons came and were relatively polite.

"Harry?"
"Yes sweetheart?"
"I love you" I said suddenly and I don't know why I had the need to say it now and even Harry looked surprised but his eyes softened and he smiled "I love you too Abigail" something in Harry's expression flickered like he wanted to ask me something else but he didn't.

After a certain amount of time (I had honestly lost track) a glass of water was pressed on my hand, the cool glass against my skin. "Drink you'll feel better" Harrison said his eyes filled with concern.

"Did you get this?" I asked him because I couldn't remember him leaving my side. "No, Hugo brought it over but he gave it to me because he said Tia was looking for him" I nodded in understanding and took a sip of the water, it instantly cooled my throat.

I began to feel better.

The night continued on without much hassle and we all had fun laughing and dancing and drinking to the crown.

It was a good night.

As I began to walk home I feel light and airy and even happy. As I began to walk though something over came me, a tiredness almost and it was over powering and consuming. I couldn't continue I felt heavy.

And like a tonne of bricks I dropped heavily.

----

I don't know where I woke up but it was damp.

Grass.

Holding my head I sat up and looked around, the dark trees created an eerie silhouette and as my eyes adjusted to the darkness and I saw the figure outlined by a dim moonlight.

The wolf

He was snarling at me and he stalked towards me like I was prey, but I was a Queen, I'd never be prey. I tried to shift to make the playing ground even but I couldn't it's like my wolf was being suppressed.

"This isn't a fair fight. Shift" I didn't bother saying it through his mind but I wanted him to hear a Queens voice.

He did as he was told and there he was standing before me in dark clothing.

"I guess this game should come to an end" he smirked his voice sharp and cruel. Removing his hood I gasped.

"You"

It's not possible I never even guessed.
