LACEY

After school, Jack approached me, "Lacey, do you wanna meet up later?"

I slapped him hard, so hard my hand stung.

"You're an ass, and a jerk, and I never want to see you again. Gosh, I was so stupid to think you liked me, that you weren't playing me," I ranted, throwing my hands around.

"Lacey, what are you talking about?" Jack asked confused.

"You're so clueless. You're dating Madison, yet you made out with me last night. I won't be your side girl late at night, Jack. I won't be it," I exclaimed harshly.

   "Lacey, I-"

   "Save it."

I went home immediately feeling heartbroken, and stupid. Girls like me don't get the guy. It's been plain and simple, yet I've only realized this now. How sad is that?
