LACEY

Ten minutes later, I walked out, and sat crisscrossed on my bed again. Jack gave me a worried look, so I gave him an assuring smile.

"Cramps," I lied.

He furrowed his brows, "oh, uh, okay."

"I'm feeling really tired and not so well, I'll see you tomorrow for our next trip?" I question.

He nods with a bright grin, and climbs off the bed. He gives me a kiss on the cheek, and leaves my room, closing the door behind him.

I let out a sigh, I'm going to have to let these feelings go. They can't roam around much longer.

While eating croissants, and Jack telling me how kissing tastes like chocolate, I wanted to kiss him so bad to find out. Chocolate is everyone's craving, and even if I hate it, I would think Jack would bring chocolate to a whole other level of taste.

I push those thoughts aside, no, I hate chocolate, and I always will.

Seeing my bed was empty of the bakery bag, and croissant wrappers, I pull the covers to my waist, and turn over, nuzzling my head into my pillow.

I refuse to think things won't get better.
