**Heeey, it didn't take me over a month to upload this chapter - yeeeey! ;P Not a very long chapter at all but I thought the party should have its own chapter to itself. Anyway! Enjoy hopefully - love anyone who reads my story I swear <3 makes me so happy :P Oh and the picture on the side is the same one from last chapter and incase you didn't read this bit last time - it's what she wears to the partaaay :) **

We all walked up the stairs to the huge house in a group, Dan holding me from behind making it hard to walk but I just tried to ignore it as I knew he would blow up if I asked him to move. The building was massive! I had no idea Crystal was so loaded! She doesn't dress like she is, with her sack-like tops and baggy trousers; it's a miracle she has a boyfriend. Though none of us have actually met this guy so there is every chance he doesn't exist.

The wall of warm air hit us all as we stepped into the hallway and saw people everywhere: some drinking; some flirting and some just practically having sex in the corner. There was a shove from behind as a group of about four guys came barging in, looking around; probably for some wasted chick they could get with easily. One of the guy's eyes landed on me and they started raking down my body. I shifted uncomfortably on the spot almost glad that I had Dan clinging onto me.

“Stop staring at my fucking girlfriend asshole!” Dan growled angrily and I went tense knowing exactly where this could lead.

“He's not worth it man,” Oscar said, appearing from nowhere and patting Dan on the shoulder. I could feel him relax slightly as he went off into football chatter with Oscar. Eiko then gripped my hand and yanked me into a different room full of people dancing.

“Thought you could use some space from the Possessive One,” Eiko laughed as she started moving in time to the music. I nodded, giving her a desperate look before laughing it off and forgetting everything; I just completely zoned out letting the music take me where it wanted me to go. We seemed to have been dancing for about half an hour before we were joined by a few members of the football team and some other guys.

A guy called Will grabbed my hand and spun me round before catching me round the waist, laughing at my confused expression as the world seemed to spin around me. I giggled slightly before getting back into my dancing zone. Will pulled me in close to him, not too close so it wasn't awkward but close enough so we could talk without our voices being drowned out by the background noise. I'd never realised how funny he was until tonight - where everything he said would crack me up and we ended up getting quite a few odd looks as we danced about in stitches.

“Didn't realise how much of a comedian you were Dee. Way more fun than any of those stuck up Barbie girls,” Will chuckled looking down into my eyes. I looked up at him and noticed how his eyes sparkled as they looked into mine: different shades of blue and grey melted into each other around his pupils. He had lovely smooth looking skin; dark brown hair which was longer at the front so his fringe was swished to the side and had a cute little pout as his resting face. I'd never noticed him before, he was always the typical 'quiet one', not getting up to much, not really into the whole man-whore thing. He was a nice guy; a nice guy who until now I hadn't realised was so hilarious.

I shook my head to get back to the real world – you have a freaking boyfriend Dee! Get over it. I looked back up at him to find him still staring intently down at me. I raised an eyebrow and smirked before he blinked and shook his head, laughing. He pulled me in closer so I was against his hard chest and started dancing slowly as the music changed to 'She Will Be Loved' by Maroon 5.

I'd almost forgotten what it felt like to be calm and carefree, Dan was always pushing me, always trying to take it that one step further; it'd been all I could do to stop him from taking my 'V-card' in the past five months that we'd been together. I wanted to make sure that he was the one for me before I went and gave myself to him, I wanted it to mean something. He always hinted at it when we were on our own together and it always just made me feel awkward around him – it's not that I didn't want to - but I couldn't help think that that was all he wanted from me and I guess that's why I'd never been any further with him.

I could hear Will's soft heart beat in his chest as it lulled me into a trance and I closed my eyes, enjoying the moment of peace that I felt inside. Then the peace was suddenly torn from me as I was thrown off the warm chest and down onto the floor with a huge clatter as I smashed into a table and a few chairs.

After struggling slightly, I sat up and held my head to make sure it wasn't bleeding, trying to steady the world around me which seemed to be spinning like crazy. When my vision came back I saw Dan with Will pinned up against the wall – Will's face bruised and his lip bleeding. The whole dance floor had gone quiet as Dan shouted in Will's face – I couldn't make out what he was saying as my head was throbbing so hard. I stood up, using a chair as my balancing aid and tried to pull Dan off of Will.

“What the hell Dan! We were just freakin' dancing you overprotective asshole!” I fumed, and I saw Dan's clutch on Will loosen slightly and I relaxed a little. He turned slightly and a huge hand came round and collided with the side of my head and sent me tumbling to the floor.

I clutched my head in pain, my whole world going fuzzy as I heard muffled shouting from around me yet was unable to understand any of it. Everything seemed very distant and I whimpered slightly as my vision started failing. I rested my head on floor and gave up trying to fight the inevitable blackness.
