Growing up, Onika was taught that liking girls was wrong. She tried her best to suppress those feelings, considering her father is a preacher. What happens when Onika goes to college and meets Beyoncé? Will those feelings she tried to bury come back, or will she let her father influence her and make her believe that loving a girl is wrong? This book is also G!p if you don't like it don't read it

The girl who never had a friend. The Girl that has a dull face, nor a kind of beauty that could ever have a typical gorgeous girl. The Girl that always hate by someone. Dead or nearly dead with almost no weight to keep me going. My mind is taken over and now I'm left with just damage. Will I ever recover from hell or will I just lye here and die? It doesn't seem like there's any chance to move forward, only knowing I don't have a reason to.

Judgmental stares and pitying eyes pierced through me, and suddenly I yearned for our steady pace to turn into a quick one. Out of the corner of my eye, I see their hushed whispers as we pass by. "Poor girl." Pity. "Life has been too hard on her." Sympathy. "A pity that the riches ended up with someone like her." Disappointment. I bowed my head as I chose to ignore the world around me and tried to escape the prying eyes. Time seemed to have slowed down as our trek felt a tad bit too long. At last, a pair of black, shiny shoes and a hand appeared in my range of vision. I slowly looked up and met the smiling eyes of an aged man. He gave me an encouraging nod. I took the offered hand and he helped me climb up the vehicle. ------------------------------- A short story written for my club, thought I would publish it here too and hopefully get critiques. - Dani.

I love them so much. They were my world, my life. I gave everything to them. But they shunned it off like it didn't matter. Instead of my care, their eyes only saw a heart frozen in ice.
