Here I was, sitting on the ground of the living room, with my best friend Louis.

We've been best friends ever since we were five and I'm not gonna lie...

It pisses me off that he doesn't see the one thing I feel for him...

Love.

I've had a crush on him since I was nine.

Realized I loved him at fourteen.

Now here we are, years later and still nothing but friends.

"Louis....can I ask you something?" I asked suddenly.

"You already did" he smirked.

I rolled my eyes and punched his arm.

"I'm serious" I smiled, loving the friendship I had with this boy.

"Okay, okay love. Spill" he laughed.

"Do you like anyone?" I blurted.

He thought for a while.

"Um...no....don't really have my eyes on anyone" he spoke.

My heart broke.

"No one at all? Because you know...we're best friends...you can tell me anything....especially if you have a crush on someone" I ranted.

Especially if that someone is me!!

He took a deep breath as his eyes went wide and he bit his lip.

He always did this when he was thinking hard.

"Actually Jimena.....I do like someone....and that someone is yo-"

"I have some questions". I interrupted. "Do you think I'm pretty?"

He seemed taken aback by my question and I could feel my chest clench in pain as he shook his head no.

What?

"Do you think I'm fat?" I asked.

"Yes" he agreed.

Crack.

"If I were to leave and never come back....would you cry?" I asked.

I wasn't sure why I was asking these questions, I just felt the need to know.

He shook his head again.

A gasp left my lips.

So much for friends....

"Then so be it" I glared, getting up and getting ready to walk out of his house.

He stood up and quickly grabbed me by my waist, pulling me into his arms and turning me around to face him.

"You're not pretty.....You're beautiful. The only thing that's fat about you is your heart and if you were to leave and never come back I wouldn't cry....I'd die" he explained.

My heart reconnected it's way back together.

Butterflies filled my stomach as I stared into the powerful light in his eyes.

"Jimena....I love you.....You're the someone I have a crush on....I've just never told you because I thought you wouldn't feel the same" he told me.

Wow.

"Louis....I love you too....I always have" I smiled.

His frown was soon replace with a bright smile and he pulled me closer so my lips met his.

We shared a passionate kiss and he suddenly pulled away.

"Does it ever drive you crazy, just how fast the night changes?" He asked with a wide grin.
