Clarinia's Pov
After I told Mason I had a year, he abruptly leaves, saying he wouldn't tell anyone, but would see me later. A few minutes passed so I sat up in my bed and start drawing. What? Don't judge me, I'm bored. And I still need to find a way to get rid of this stupid venom.
"Why weren't the shadows here?"
His voice whispers. I froze in my spot, the pencil I was using stayed in place. My gaze stayed on the picture I was drawing. He hadn't spoke to me since I last saw him, which was yesterday, but... well you gotta be fudging kidding me. What does he want now?
"Well?" He asks a bit impatiently.
"I- I wanted to have a private conversation with Nya." I say.
Lies.I hope he bought it. Oh who am I kidding, I can't lie for anything. Even if my life depended on it.
"Private how?" He asks.
I'm morally screwed.
"I just needed girl stuff for the bathroom. Ya know. That time of the month."
I reply blushing. It wasn't true, I just needed to cover this up. He can't know what we were really talking about. Dad would definitely kill Nya. It was at least a minute of dreadful silence before he suddenly disappeared. Oh man. I really did need Nya. Letting out a shaky sigh, I set my sketch book and pencil down on the floor.
~1 Day Later~
So everyone else came by when they could and talked with me about what I missed. Except Mason ( understandable ), Sensie, and Mom. Her real name is Teal, but I don't know why they didn't visit, except for Mason. And if your wondering, yes, Nya did buy me some. But they're close to finding the anti-venom. I was clapping in excitement when Cole told me. I wonder if he still likes me...
"Yes I do still like you." Cole said all of a sudden.
"Shit! Don't scare me like that! Note to self, don't think out loud."
"Sorry, I just came to let you know Kai is going to make some food for you." He says with a smile.
"Okay? So, how are the others? Sensie? Teal? Mason?" I ask, exaggerating Mason's and Sensie's names.
"They're fine. But your cousin is looking stressed. What did you do?"
"I can't say anything. Seriously, I'm sorry Cole, I made a vow."
