It would be much appreciated if you all could read the authors note at the end as it is about requests. Xx

Finding out you were pregnant had made you feel nervous about becoming a mother, but also excited as you were having a baby with Niall and he had seemed just as excited.

You found out and told him a week ago and he had been excited with you for the rest of the day, however, he had been distant ever since then.

"Niall, I have something to tell you." You said.

"What is it?" He asked, a look of concern on his face.

"I know that were married now so we were thinking about trying for this soon, but I'm pregnant." You told him and he gasped.

"You are?" He asked, a smile on his face.

"I am." You said, with a smile.

"Were going to be parents!" He exclaimed, pulling you into a hug.

"We need to tell the boys." He said, a smile on his lips as he looked at you, excitedly.

"Not yet, we can't have loads of people find out just yet, it's early days." You said.

"I know, but they won't say anything. Please?" He pleaded.

"Okay, go on then." You smiled and he cheered, before calling each of the boys to tell them the news.

Ever since that day, things had been different. He had come home from work and he would avoid you and it seemed like he was doing it purposely.

At first, you thought maybe he was tired from working, but he seemed distant and it had been happening for the past week, so you wondered if it could be anything to do with your pregnancy.

"Niall?" You called, getting up from your place on your shared bed and heading into the living room, where Niall was.

"Yeah?" He sighed, sitting down on the couch.

"Are you alright?" You asked him, sitting next to him as he aimlessly watched the TV.

"Yeah, I'm fine." He said, simply.

"Are you upset about the baby?" You asked him and you noticed him tense up.

"What? No! Of course not." He said, quickly.

"Are you sure? Because were supposed to be in this together and you've been distant with me since I told you about being pregnant." You sighed as he continued to focus his attention on the TV.

"I don't know why, it's just a lot to take in." He groaned, turning off the TV before turning to face you.

"I know that, but you seemed so excited. What's changed?" You asked, concerned.

"I'm going to be a dad Y/N. Our child is going to look up to me as a role model and I'm not sure if I'll be any good." He said, running a hand through his hair.

"But your a role model to so many people on a daily basis, your fans and there are millions of fans to impress. You do a great job and I'm sure you'll be an amazing father." You reassured him as he wrapped his arms around your waist, nuzzling his head into the crook of your neck and hugging you tightly.

"But this is different, it's my child who is supposed to grow up and become the person he or she is based on their upbringing, which I play a big part in. I know you'll be an amazing mother, but I worry that I won't be a good father and that he or she will grow up, hoping they would be a better parent to their children." He explained.

"Ni, that's ridiculous. Our child will love you, regardless of whether or not your the best dad in the world. You don't have to be the best, you just have to be yourself and I know that our child will love you so much and that they will want the same for their future children." You comforted, rubbing his back as he leaned into you more.

"You really think so? I'm away so much, you don't think I'll be a disappointment?" He questioned and you let out a small laugh.

"Niall, of course I don't. Your an amazing husband and I've got confidence in you that you'll be a great dad." You reassured him and he smiled.

"I hope so." He said.

"Niall, you should've talked to me about how you were feeling. I almost thought you didn't want the baby with me." You sighed and he looked up at you.

"No of course not. Princess, your the only person I'd ever want to have a baby with and now that were having one, I wouldn't not want him or her. They're a person and their our child, so that baby is special to me. Please, don't ever think that. I'm so sorry that I've been distant, I was scared." He explained.

"Oh Ni." You laughed.

"I know, I was being silly, but I just want to be good enough." He stated.

"Your more than good enough Niall." You whispered and he leaned up to kiss you.

"I love you princess, your the best wife I could've asked for." He mumbled against your lips before pulling away.

"I love you too Ni." You smiled.

One Year Later ~

"Hey you." Niall chuckled, picking up his three month old son and holding him against his chest.

"Your so tiny and I still can't believe your a small part of me sometimes. It's hard to believe I have someone so precious, besides Y/N and I love you so much." He whispered as you looked at the two of them from the doorway of your sons bedroom.

"I was so afraid of not being enough for you, but now I see how much you need us and it makes me want to try my best for you." He said as your son wrapped his tiny hands around Niall's fingers, holding onto him gently.

"Hey." You said, with a smile, entering the room as Niall looked up at you with a grin.

"He's just wrapped his tiny fingers around mine." He whispered, excitedly.

Everything he did, Niall adored and you loved to see the two of them together.

Niall was someone you loved so much and being able to have a child with him, made you love your little boy just as much.

"I love you princess." Niall said, kissing your forehead gently as he pulled you closer to him, holding you in one arm and his son in the other.

"I love you too." You said, sighing in contentment.
