You sighed after turning over in bed, still not being able to get comfortable and go to sleep.
You got up quietly, trying not to wake Niall up as you looked at him to see him peacefully sleeping before exiting your shared bedroom.
"Y/N?" Niall called, groggily.
You stopped, turning around and going back into your bedroom to see him sat up in bed, looking at you in the dark.
"Where are you going?" He mumbled, sleepily, wiping his eyes.
"I'm going to get a drink of water, go back to sleep." You told him and he sighed.
"Okay." He muttered, laying back down as you waited, watching as he got himself comfortable before falling asleep again.
You quietly walked into the kitchen, carefully getting a glass out of the cupboard and pouring yourself a glass of water as you sighed, not being able to relax.
You headed into the living room, sitting down and sipping on your water as you tried to relax, placing a few cushions behind your back and getting lost in your thoughts.
"Y/N?" You heard Niall call again and you sighed, not wanting to have woken him up a second time.
He entered the living room, running a hand through his messy hair as he took a seat next to you on the couch.
"Are you alright? You seem restless tonight," he commented, leaning his head on your shoulder.
"Go back to bed, I'm fine." You muttered, feeling tired.
"But I want you to come back to bed too, I worry about you." He said.
"I know, but I just can't sleep that's all," you shrugged.
"Why? What's on your mind princess?" He asked, concerned as he blinked his eyes to try and stay awake.
"Nothing much, I just can't sleep, but you can so go back to bed," you laughed slightly at his sleepy state.
"Mm, maybe in a bit," he mumbled, his head still resting on your shoulder.
You sat in silence for a few minutes before you felt your glass of water being taken from your grip as Niall placed it on the coffee table before lifting you up.
"Please don't do that while your half asleep, I don't want to break any bones on my way back to bed." You warned him, aware of his tiredness from work the day before.
"I won't drop you baby, I'll be careful," he said, almost tripping when he got to your shared bedroom.
"Niall! I don't want you to trip so pleas put me down." You shrieked.
"I did that on purpose." He smirked, his loud laugh filling your ears as you realised he was being serious.
"Niall! You could've actually fallen." You exclaimed.
"Well I didn't and besides, I'm fully aware of where I'm going and what I'm doing when it comes to carrying you." He smiled, placing you down on the bed as he climbed in next to you.
"That was mean, you scared me." You said.
"I meant to," he laughed and you hit his arm, playfully.
"Ouch, you hurt me." he pouted.
"I meant to," you raised your eyebrows at him and he held his arm, a serious expression on his face.
"Oh no, I didn't actually mean to Ni," you said, convinced you had hardly touched him.
His lips turned up into a smirk and he burst into laughter, letting go of his arm.
"Gotcha! You should've seen your face!" He laughed.
"Hey, not cool." You told him, laying down to try and get comfortable as he did the same.
"Aw, I'm sorry baby, come on I'll make it up to you by singing to you, what song would you like?" He asked, wrapping an arm around you.
"Last first kiss," you smiled, snuggling further into him as you made yourself comfortable laying on Niall's chest.
"Baby I, I wanna know, what you think when were alone, is it me yeah, are you thinking of me yeah," he began Liam's part and you smiled, listening to his voice as he sang the whole song with such passion and love for what he does.
By the end of the song you had now found comfort in Niall's arms and you were feeling much more relaxed.
"Are you sleepy now or do you want another song?" He asked.
"I'm sleepy now," you mumbled, feeling tired as you closed your eyes to sleep.
"You can sing me another one in the morning though," you added and he laughed lightly.
"Okay baby, good night, I love you." He said, kissing your forehead.
"Good night, I love you too." You said as you finally managed to get some sleep.
