"Hey Niall." You smiled, entering his classroom after grabbing your lunch.
"Hey Y/N, coming to join me again?" He teased, with a smile as he began to eat his sandwich.
It'd been a few weeks since Niall confessed his liking towards you and you had done the same. You ate lunch together almost everyday and you had been on two dates already.
On your first date, he had picked you up from your house and taken you to his place, where he cooked you a lovely meal before you went to watch a movie that he had and on your second date, he had taken you out to a restaurant and you'd followed that by going to the cinema to see a romantic movie.
"You invited me again." you laughed, emphasising the word again.
"Well I enjoy your company and I like getting to know you more." He smiled as you pulled up a chair next to his desk and sat down.
"Y/N, would you consider being with me? As in, properly being with me?" He asked, placing his sandwich down as he looked at you seriously.
"You mean like where were in a proper relationship instead of just going on dates?" You asked and he nodded.
"Well I would love to, but there is the small fact that your my teacher and even though were both at the legal age to date, don't you think it would be hard to try and keep it a secret?" You said, sensibly.
"I do, but it's for less than a year and then we can show people that were together," he continued.
"But, what if the school decides they don't want you working here once they find out? It's not professional." You reminded him.
"I'm sure they will, they know that I'm not the kind of person to make a regular thing of having relationships with my students. It took me ages to decide whether I should tell you or not because of how unprofessional it is."
"But, I know that I like you, a lot and I want to make us work. We can work out, we just have to put the effort in." He reassured you.
You nodded, thinking over it. Niall was genuinely a lovely man and when you got to know him more personally, you realised how much of a lovely person he is. You love who he is and you do want to be with him, but you were still trying to be sensible about things.
"Do you want to be with me?" He asked, quietly, looking away from you as he picked his sandwich up and began to eat it.
"Yes Niall, I do want to be with you. I was just trying to be sensible." You admitted.
"I know and I understand that, but this won't effect your grades or anything either because despite the fact that we've been going on dates, you still work hard in lessons and if I did become a distraction, we could always get you extra tuition." He reassured you, reaching over to take a hold of your hand.
You smiled, feeling the butterflies in your stomach as he held your hand, something you hadn't felt with anyone before.
"Okay Niall, let's give it a go." You said, confidently.
"Are you sure?" He asked, a blush on his face as he smiled.
"Of course." You nodded.
He looked at you, looking between your eyes and your lips and your breathing increased slightly as his face inched closed to yours.
He leaned in and captured his lips with yours and your sure you felt a spark, making you feel like you made the right decision by saying yes to him.
He pulled away and smiled, "how was that?" He asked.
"Perfect." You smiled.
"How about next week we go out for a drive for lunch and maybe stop off at McDonald's? Just so people don't get suspicious of you being in my classroom every lunch time." He said.
"Yeah, sounds good, I love McDonald's." You laughed.
"Me too, I know it's not very romantic, but it'd be nice to get out of school for an hour too." He said.
"Yeah, me too."
"Y/N, you know I wouldn't take such a big chance on you if I didn't think you were worth it. This is a big deal, but I'm going to try." He said, seriously.
"I know and it's the same for me, but were going to do this together." You said and he nodded.
This was your new life, things were about to change as they already had done and you knew it, but Niall was worth it. You could feel it.
