~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your son, Aidan had recently been diagnosed with Autism. At first, it was hard to hear the news as you knew your son may not be able to do some of the things normal children could do when he grew up, but it made Niall more determined. Determined to do something and to help make a change.
He had done a charity football match for autism before and was now preparing to do another one for your son as you sat on the bench in the football ground, while your son was next to you in his stroller.
Things with the paparazzi were much more difficult with your son being Autistic, as he was sensitive to sound, which was why you brought ear defenders to protect his ears and to make situations like these less distressing for him.
"Kick off is starting now, Team Horan are ready." The commentator sounded as the whistle was blown and the game was started.
You looked into the stroller to see Aidan without a care in the world, not understanding what was going on as ear defenders covered his small ears and he giggled at his father who was currently kicking the ball around on the field.
Niall's P.O.V:
I dribbled the ball, getting tackled by a member of the opposing team as they scored a goal.
I had to do this, I had to win.
Once I could, I determinedly ran towards the ball, making sure to tackle it from the opposing team as I headed straight for the goal.
This is for Aidan.
Everything I did was for Y/N and my son, everything. I put their best interests first and since finding out my child was different, it made me want to do more for him.
We played on, ending up having equal scores towards the end of the game, however things went in our favour as we had the chance to take a penalty.
"Who's going to take it?" Louis asked.
"I think it should be Harry." I said confidently.
"Me? Why me?" He asked, surprised.
"Because you've done it before Harry, I believe in you, you can do it again." I told him.
"I'm not sure, maybe Liam should take it." Harry suggested.
"No mate, it doesn't matter if you don't win, the money has still been raised thanks to everyone who bought a ticket and donated." Liam chipped in.
"Yeah, exactly." I agreed.
"Alright I'll take it, but be warned, I'm not the best player." He laughed, heading to take the ball.
"Believe your the best player and you'll score!" Liam shouted and Harry smiled back at him before lining up for the goal.
He rubbed his hands together, concentration written all over his face as he ran towards the ball, kicking it as it landed straight into the goal.
He cheered, running towards me with a grin and I laughed, remembering how he had done the same last time we had a football match.
He ran to me, tackling me in a hug and laughing as he patted my back.
"That was for Aidan." He whispered and I smiled, feeling emotional as I looked back at my son to see him clapping his hands in my direction.
"Thank you Harry, this really means a lot to me and to Y/N." I said, appreciatively.
