Chapter 21

He's really perfect for me, and I'll do everything to improve myself just to be perfectly fit for him, to deserve him.

After a while, I suddenly felt him poking me.

"Kiko.."

"Hm?" I opened my eyes and immediately looked at him. He's on his phone.

"Tara na? Uuwi na ba?" Pag-aaya ko habang kinukusot ang mata. Pero hindi s'ya sumagot at tumingin lang sa cellphone n'ya. I curiously peeked over there and saw him staring at Kaogma's page post.

Does he want to go? He's not vocal about what he wants, so I really need to read him, which I always do.

"Uuwi na ba tayo, Koji?" I softly asked as he quickly turned to face me.

"Or... Do you want to go there?" I added while pointing at his phone.

His eyes lit up, so I knew he was excited about what I said. His lips twitched as if he was about to smile, but he held back and looked away from me.

"Pupunta kasi ang Ben and Ben ngayon, gusto ko sana silang mapanood. Ayos lang ba sa'yo?" I could hear the concern in his voice when he asked me. I furrowed my eyebrows at him.

"Oo naman!" Damn, he didn't even need to ask that.

"Kung saan ka, doon ako." I added and smile at him sweetly. Sumulyap lang s'ya saakin at bumalik ulit ang paningin sa screen.

"Gusto ko ngang sumama sainyo noong una, e. Kaso hindi mo naman ako inaya, damot." Biro ko at nagkunwaring naiiyak. Humawak pa ako sa noo ko at umiling-iling.

I heard him chuckled. "E, kasama ko si Avry."

Humagikhik ako ng sandali. Napatingin ako sa bibig n'ya ng umawang ito, mukhang may sasabihin.

"At saka.."

"At saka?"

Koji pouted his lips and seemed hesitant to say something. I just smiled at him while he also glanced at me. Kahit naman ganyan s'ya, sasabihin n'ya parin 'yan. I know him very well.

"Ayaw kitang ayain ng may kasama.." He answered, but I could tell that it's still incomplete. The movement of his lips say it all.

"Why?" I asked in curiosity as I raised my eyebrow. Waiting for what he was going to say.

He crouched a bit and played with his bracelet. "Mas maganda pag... tayong dalawa lang."

Nai-angat ko ang ulo ko at gulat na tumingin sakaniya.

"Tayong dalawa lang?" Paguulit ko, hindi makuntento sa narinig.

He nodded carefreely, which surprised me. He's not usually like this with me. He has... become like this?

"Paano kung kasama sila Red? Si Drei, Taslan, Si Math, at si Wesley? Ayaw mo?" Tanong ko.

Gusto ko pang marinig mula sakaniya na gusto n'ya akong kasama. Abusado na kung abusado.

I swallowed hard and attempted to meet his gaze, but he quickly turned his head and face me.

"Ayaw mo ba silang isama?" As I gazed at the two moles on his chin, he scratched it.

"Gusto ko naman silang kasama," sagot n'ya sa mariin na boses. "masaya rin naman akong kasama sila. Pero..."

Nanliit ang mga mata ko. Putol nanaman! Mahilig sa pa-suspense! Bitin na bitin na ano Koji, sabihin mo na.

"Iba rin kasi pag ikaw." He said and looked straight to my face.

Goddamn. He said what?

My body seemed to stiffen, and I was left staring at him. I processed it in my mind, and I could hardly think straight.
