I could not understand why out of the hundreds of dragons surrounding me only a handful of them took off fleeing from the Erix. All of the dragon's could easily take flight but they weren't. What was keeping them there? I watched vigiantly as some of the dragon's fought back, streams of fire swooping through the air towards the armored men.

I could visibly see fear, sadness, and confusion, seeing it was one thing but the feelings that came along with it were far worse. The mama dragon cried out an aching roar, she ran through the crossfire trying to protect herself from the horrid people attacking them.

The mama came to a tall plot of grass, she pushed the grass aside revealing a nest filled with large pearly eggs. She nuzzled gently against the eggs, she was protecting her babies.
