The baby flopped over onto its back exposing its belly. I reached down and rubbed the scaly skin that was surprisingly very soft, almost velvety feeling. The dragon's legs kicked freely into the air loving the belly rubs. These animals, as horrifying as they could be, were cuddly giants. I laughed enjoyingly. It was one of those moments where you couldn't help but smile at someone elses joy, however instead of someone it happened to be a gigantic flying reptile.

The baby flipped over and started flapping its tiny wings quickly, it lifted into the air landing in my arms. The baby licked my face with its wet slobbery tongue, causing more laughter to spill out of me. The baby was scaly like its mother and had similar coloring but had a few white speckled spots.

It was the cutest, the dragon flipped over from its back and squirmed to be let down.
