I yelled out for Frances. He called out my name and the horse took off running into the forest. I tried to pull on the reins to get the mare to stop running but it was no use, I screamed out for Frances. Now that we had been separated from one another. The once blue sky grew darker by the minute into a sickly gray.
The horse didn't stop running until it had exhausted itself completely. I was concerned about how severe the storm would be and I was unsure of which direction was forward and which was backwards. I jumped down from the horse and tied the reins around a tree's trunk infront of me, the wind was picking up.
I inspected my surroundings carefully, I would need to find shelter for the mare and I. This was going to be a rough night or next couple of days. What if Frances couldn't find me?
