The grandfather told the people the child wanted the box. The mother passed the baby the box. She took the lid off and inside the box was another box, and another, and another, and another box. The mother took the lid off the last box and light spilled out of it. Light was flooding out from inside the box. Inside was a ball of light shining brightly, blazing with light.

The elder spoke to the group of kids. "Who do you think the ball was?" He allowed the children to ponder for a moment, before giving them the answer. "It was the sun," he said. The elder continued the rest of the tale. Give the child the ball, the grandfather said.

Once the child had the ball he was so delighted he transformed back into a bird. Everyone looked on in amazement, the raven picked up the ball of light in his beak flying away into the sky.
