The letters in front of Alexander's eyes burned brighter until they were unintelligible, he stared at the smiling face of Lucien Rodrigues and the also smiling face of the woman of his dreams; Mara Sinclair as the words burned even brighter

BILLIONAIRE TO WED FASHION GODDESS... REPORTEDLY ENGAGED

Laughter bubbled inside his throat as white hot heat raced down his spine, they had put the best picture for last because on the next page was a close up picture of them kissing outside the art gallery yesterday for the world to see. He had her in a passionate grip while her arms were around his neck and he could all but envision how Mara must taste as Lucien ravished her. How could she not see that he would be able to give her so much more than the Rodrigues could ever.

Alexander slammed the newspaper on his table and began drumming his hand together, he was waiting for the boys he had sent to the gallery as soon as he left and he could only smile at what hell they must have wrecked up. It was surprising that it wasn't in the news but then again, they could never link the incident to him in anyway.

"Mara Sinclair" He muttered, bringing the paper up so he could stare into her smiling eyes. He could feel his cock hardening just by looking at her and so he spread his legs apart and unzipped his pants, his eyes roaming her body.

His cock pulsed in his hand as he stroked it, imagining her tongue on it licking deftly and her on her knees with his arm wrapped around her hair filling her mouth with his meat and cum leaking from her stuffed face.

"Oh baby, I am going to offer you the world" He groaned as he came violently on Mara's face on the paper.

...

Something was annoyingly disturbing Lucien's wonderful dream of Mara, he knew what it was.

"Damn it" He muttered, his hand coming up to grab his phone.

"Hello" he groaned into the phone

"You are in serious trouble, brother of mine" Diana screeched into his ears.

"What do you want, Di" Lucien muttered

"What is the meaning of this, Lucien!" His mother's voice broke into his foggy brain

"Good morning mother" Lucien responded

"Engaged? And to that unruly girl no less, I do not know what you are up to and I have tolerated all of your excesses but this is one thing I will draw the line on, Lucien Rodrigues" His mother bellowed

Shit, the act must have worked, Lucien thought to himself

"I will bring Mara over for a family dinner"

"You will not bring that savage into our house and she will not be part of this family"

"Mother!" Lucien snapped

His mother paused for a bit before she spoke again, her tone whiny

"I am sick, Lucien. I have been sick for a while now, do you want to kill me with all of these surprises?"

His mother was anything but sick, she had a way of becoming whiny anytime something did not agree with her; his sister, Diana had taken after their mother in that regard

"I love you mother and I do not want you dead but you are going to have to accept my choices and Mara is one of them" Lucien explained

"You want me dead, I can see that now and I hope you succeed so I can join your father." She muttered

"We will talk later, mom" Lucien told her and hung up before she had a chance to whine some more.

Just as he was about to go back to sleep, his phone rang again

"Let me be" He muttered before seeing the call was from Mara

"Please tell me you are awake and watching the news" She snapped

"Ermm, I am awake but not watching the news. What is the matter?" Lucien asked, making a grab for the remote control.

"The gallery was attacked right after we left and all paintings destroyed" Mara told him

Lucien felt his heart do a double flip as he tuned in, he could see the gallery owner answering some questions with disbelief etched openly on his face and behind him, he could see the destroyed gallery

"I am so sorry, Lucien" Mara said softly as she heard his sharp intake of breath

"I have to be there" he told her

"Yes, of course; I shall call you back later" Mara told him, hanging up.

Lucien hurriedly dressed up and rushed out of the studio with one destination in mind. He reached the gallery as soon as the media rode out and met the gallery owner who still looked as though the earth had given way under his feet.

"How did this happen?" Lucien asked, glancing around

"I have no idea, I received a call this morning from my wife. She went to open the gallery for the day and saw it this way without any of the security alarms going off, the gallery wasn't broken into and the cameras were tampered with."

"Any missing painting?" Lucien asked already forming an opinion on what must have happened

"Sadly, your painting is missing. It is the only one unaccounted for" The gallery owner told him

"Of course. Inbox me the cost of all the damages and I shall sort it all out" Lucien told him

"Thank you so much, Lucien. How can I repay you?" He said, his voice breaking.

Lucien patted him on the shoulder before excusing himself; there was one person he was sure did this carnage and stole his painting.

"What'sup?" Mara asked as soon as she picked up

"Guess the painting that is missing?" Lucien told her

"Yours?" Mara said, realization dawning on her

"Correct" Lucien answered grimly.

"You do not think that he did it, right. He is a respectable person and really..."

"There is nothing respectable about Alexander Russo and if he indeed stole my painting, he is going to pay for it." Lucien vowed.

"You are going to involve the police?" Mara asked

"Ofcourse, Sergeant Derreck is a long time friend of mine" Lucien told her.

He was officially and royally pissed
