I sighed as I tugged at my hair. I don't really know what to do, especially since the hospital I built in the Philippines has a problem. So I did nothing but return to the Philippines even though my work here in Japan was not yet finished.

"Aki."

"Yes, sir?"

"Ipahanda mo ang eroplano," saad ko. "Lilipad ako ngayon pauwi sa Pilipinas. You take care of my hospital until I get back here, understand?"

Tumango ito ng mabilis. "Yes, sir."

I also nodded and he left to prepare my plane to go home to the Philippines. I'll only be there for a while and I'll just fix the problem there, then I'll leave again to take care of another branch of my hospital.

At this age I have built five hospitals in different places. Without them I probably wouldn't have reached my dream of becoming a doctor.

I thought you had no intention of coming back here. You don't seem to miss us," Mom said to me when I returned home after taking care of my hospital. I could hear the sullenness in Mom's voice. So I hugged her.

"I'm sorry, Mom. Don't be mad at me," I kissed her on the cheek. "I have a gift for you."

Mom raised her eyebrows at me. "And what do you think of me? My sullenness towards you will disappear immediately just because of your gift? You didn't even come home on my birthday. I told you to come home, didn't I?"

I hugged Mom even more. "I'm sorry, Mom. The hospital had an emergency so I couldn't come home."

"So, are you saying that your hospital is more important than your Mom?"

"Mom, I'm sorry. What do you want me to do to get rid of your sulk?" I asked after a few minutes passed.

"You want me to stop sulking at you?" I nodded immediately. "If so, get married! Your brother has a girlfriend and he might propose to his girlfriend because they have been together for a long time. I haven't met the girl he loves but I know she's nice. Then you? You don't have a girlfriend yet! What? You will waste our race?!

It's not that I don't want to get married, but it's because I haven't found the woman for me yet.

"Kuya!"

"Why? Do you need anything?" tanong ko.

"Can you come with me?"

"Where?"

"At the mall."

Mall?

"Why? What are we going to do there?"

Pwede mo ba akong tulungan mamili?"
