!Nova's POV!

"You know we should just ask for keys from Wong" I whispered as we tried to sneak into the Library of the sorcerers world.

"And then he'll ask why.... Are you ready to tell him?" He said, I couldn't help but roll my eyes at him.

"Let's get going" I patted his back and didn't even look at his grinning irritating face.

Why do I have to be partners with people that irritate me the most?! Now I can say with confidence that I haven't done anything that bad to deserve this!

He stopped infront of a wall making me look at him. He looked scared and stressed so he took a deep breath like it was his final breath and blew it out, shrugging his shoulder.

He turned to look at me and I straightened up.

"Now this is the back wall of the library and before we enter it I need to tell you about this....okay..... So this library is called Kamar-taj and this is the  home to countless ancient books, tomes that unlock the secrets of the universe. But some of those books, collected by the Ancient One herself, are forbidden; they are chained, and watched over by the librarian — Wong — with the greatest of care" He finished his speech with so much passion that I couldn't even tell that he was the same Luke but I nodded anyways..

"And we have to read many books, so we have to get started now" He said and I nodded again.

He opened a portal on the wall and we could see behind the wall in the library.

I looked at him and he gestured for me to walk in, I drew a deep breath and walked inside looking around the library.

It was an alley and on both the sides there were books somehow stuffed in the racks and the library was dimly lit very dimly and then the alley extended far and I could see a turn that just spiked my interest.

I turned around to see Luke entering from the portal he made and then closing it.

I turned to the other side to see Wong standing with his back facing us which made my eyes widened. I quickly patted Luke gaining his attention and pointed at Wong.

He also panicked and we ducked behind a bookshelf just in time cause Wong turned around as if he felt us behind him and looked around before going back to whatever he was doing.

Luke and I looked at each other and maybe it was a mistake........ He was so near to me that I could feel his breath all over my face and I have no idea why but he was just looking at me with so much..... concentration..... I should probably back away.

As soon as I thought about it I saw his eyes flicker down over my lips and my eyes widened. I quickly pushed myself away and stood up as silently as I could, blinking rapidly and trying to diffuse the warmness on my face.

"Come on, there a lot of work" I whispered and he too stood up and we started to walk away from Wong as silently as we could/

!Luke's POV!

What the bloody hell was I thinking?!?! I met this woman tonight and I was thinking of kissing her?! The look on her face..... Goodness...... This is the first time you got rejected Luke! You dumb fuck.

Now everything will be awkward....... Why though? As far as I know she is single and what is a problem with one kiss?

Wait, why am I even thinking about this?! I'm damn sure it is the alcohol thinking and doing these types of things.

I couldn't help but sigh seeing Nova so flustered, her cheeks dusted with a light pink shade and I could even see her gulping time to time. We finally reached the corner of the library where Wong could never find us and I gestured her to look for any book she think will be good for her research.
