!Edward's POV!

"Hey....... Wake up" I said softly stroking Nova's cheek lovingly.

"Hmm" She grumbled before snuggling even more making me chuckle.

"Your surprise will come soon so I have to leave" I said and could clearly hear her muffled whining.

"Get up" I said once more standing up leaving her grumbling as she sat up rubbing her eyes lazily.

"Hi" She smiled at me tiredly and closed her eyes still sitting.

"What's the surprise?" She asked making a loose ponytail and yawning.

"Can't tell, sorry" I said looking at her every action.

She sighed and laid back before huffing.

"And when will that surprise come?" She asked as I smiled down at my mate.

"Soon....... And that's my cue" I said before vamp speeding out of the window.

!Nova's POV!

"okay, who is the....... " I looked where he was standing and now he is not there making me sigh as I waited for my 'surprise'.

After ten minutes of lying down suddenly the door opened making me turn my head and look at the door.

My eyes widened once again and a very excited look graced my face as I saw some of my favorite people walk through the door.

"Hey kid!" Nat said as I leaped up and ran to her hugging without wasting a second.

"Well.... I take it you also missed me a lot" She said with a chuckle and petted my hair lightly making me smile.

"Hey Novs!" I heard Peter's voice from behind making me leave Natasha and look behind.

I saw Peter with MJ and Steve!

"My God!!!!! I missed you all so much!!" I exclaimed hugging the three of them tightly.

"How's school?" I asked MJ and Peter as they smiled.

"It's fine actually and........ We both um.... Uh-are...... Dating!" Peter said awkwardly making me laugh.

After the kiss from last might feelings for Peter has completely vanished from me.

"Thanks absolutely amazing!!!! Have you um.... You know.... U—" I stuttered a little as MJ interrupted me.

"Told me that he is the bug man swinging around the city? No. I figured it out" She said sarcastically making me roll my eyes.

"Right..... How can I forget the great, intelligent Michelle Jones!" I sad jokingly as she shoved my shoulder lightly making me laugh.

"Oh and what's the position of the base thing?" I asked as Steve answered.

"You don't need to worry about that, kid.... We've got it" He said as I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Nat is going alone, isn't she?" I asked looking at him who looked quite uncomfortable glancing at Peter making me roll my eyes.

"You know we three are unstoppable. Wanda is a witch, Nat can fight and I've there back! You cannot go alone Nat!" I said to her as she sighed.

"I am not going alone Wanda and....... Bucky will be with me" She said making me gasp.

"You are changing me?!?!?!" I said not believing.

"You have got to live a life of a normal teen-ager for once, Nova" She said making me scoff.

"This is stupid! I can fight!" I said as she came near me and placed her hand on my shoulder.

"I know..... But you shouldn't" She said sternly.

"Okay..... So it's bad if I know how to protect me and my family?" I asked as she pinched her nose bridge.

"Its not..... But you are..... Young and you should live" She said.

"But what about Peter?" I asked but she didn't answered.

"So you are only leaving me out of this, huh?" I asked as they nodded slowly.

"Accidents happens!" I said as she shook her head.

"You put yourself in danger again, Nova! You just cannot always get captured and get tortured because you want to save someone!" Nat exclaimed.

"Okay then... I'll not!" I said but she shook her head.

"You put your emotions first which will put not only you but others in danger too" She said rather harshly.

"Maybe my caring can save your ass!" I exclaimed trying to find anything to argue but deep down I know that she is right.

"No! It will not! You will get yourself killed!" She yelled.

"If that means to save you or someone I love! It's worth it!" I yelled back.

"See. That's your problem! Last time when we went together you took a bullet for me! A fucking bullet, Nova!" She yelled.

"Language!" Steve said from behind as Me and Nat both said in union.

"Shut up!"

"And he was pointing the gun exactly at your heart!" I said.

"It could have get you killed, Nova!" She yelled.

"And what if it was me in place of you? Would you have left me to die?" I asked but she didn't replied.

"Now you know!" I said.

"You will not come in missions with me Nova and it's final!" She said before turning around and walking away as I turned to look at Steve.

"Seriously?" I asked throwing my hand up in the air.

"Everyone agreed with this decision" Steve said making me scoff.

"You both too?" I asked as they both nodded making me even more frustrate.

"This.....you all are stupid!" I said before a nurse came in.

"Time for dr–" She stopped looking at us as the three of them went out quietly and the nurse came to me.

"Time for dressing" She said as I sighed and went to sit on the bed lifting my shirt so that she can dress me up.

"And they think it will make me weak, my foot" I cannot believe that they left without me.

"Hey" A soft voice said from the window as my head snapped towards it to see Edward standing.

"Hi" I said half-heartedly.

"What happened?" He asked coming to me.

"Nat thinks that I put everyone else above me which will get me killed someday so they are not taking me in their missions!" I said and heard him sigh.

"You need to rest, Nova" He said making me sigh.

"It's night, come on" He said dragging me towards the bed and tucked me under the covers.

"Come here" I patted next to me as he smiled and laid next to me and we cuddled just like before.

"Do you think they are right?" I asked him.

"You don't need to think about that" He said as I sighed and closed my eyes.

He began stroking my hair knowing that it will make me fell asleep even if I don't want to.

And that's what happened I fell asleep and slept peacefully without any dreams.

I would love to see Wanda, Natasha and Nova working together but it would make the series very long. Hence, we are excluding it.

Finally Nova will get out of the hospital and then will be able to revive her tastebuds by eating something spicy!!!!
