TW: 🛴 mention

Guys, I know that no one cares, but I asked my crush to sign my shirt (shirt signing is an end of school ritual in the UK) and she DID and then as she was signing, she spoke to me about Taylor Swift and the eras tour and getting tickets and stuff and omg. That's all xx (I'm literally in love with her)

June, 2019

Taylor didn't want to leave London.

Mallory didn't want her to leave, either, but she had a job to do. She had to be there with her friends when her second single came out and she needed to celebrate. Get drunk, announce something that she shouldn't, call Tree with a hangover the next morning and curse Mallory for allowing her to go.

Sadly, she had caved quickly.

Mallory had a meeting to attend on the day that Taylor's plane departed, but she wouldn't mind being a few minutes late if it meant giving her girlfriend- no, fiancée- the parting she deserved. A hug that lasted five minutes and a kiss that neither wanted to end ever.

"I'll see you soon," Mallory murmured against Taylor's lips.

"Yeah," Taylor said back, going to kiss her again.

"Miss Swift," Mark cleared his throat, "I don't mean to intrude, but we should get going."

Taylor nodded at him, "See you soon, fiancée," She grinned at Mallory.

Mallory looked down at the ring that rested on Taylor's chest, sitting just below the 'M' necklace. Precautions that had been taken just to be sure that no rumours about their relationship formed when they didn't need them to. Mallory's ring had been slotted onto her pointer finger on her right hand and Taylor's was on a necklace chain.

Smiling still, Taylor kissed Mallory's cheek before raising her hand and kissing her ring as a promise. Her fiancée's ears turned red and she rushed towards the jet. Mallory smiled softly before retreating into the airport. She didn't leave until the plane was in the air.

Taylor settled into her seat on the plane, her mind abuzz with a mix of excitement and nostalgia. She was on her way back to Los Angeles, the city of dreams, for the release of her latest single, You Need To Calm Down. The song held a special place in her heart, and she couldn't wait to share it with the world. But as the plane taxied on the runway, a tinge of melancholy washed over her.

Just three weeks ago, in a picturesque garden surrounded by blooming roses, Mallory had taken Taylor by surprise. With trembling hands and a love-filled gaze, Mallory had dropped down on one knee, presenting a sparkling diamond ring and asking Taylor to be her forever. The proposal had been a whirlwind of emotions - tears of joy, laughter, and an overwhelming sense of love. Taylor had said yes without (definitely with) a moment's hesitation, knowing deep in her heart that Mallory was the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.

Now, as the plane soared through the skies, Taylor couldn't help but feel a void in her heart. She missed Mallory more than she ever thought possible. They had been inseparable since that magical day, constantly laughing, dreaming, and building a future together. But Taylor's busy schedule, filled with studio sessions and promotional commitments, had forced her to leave Mallory behind for this trip. The thought of being apart from her fiancée made her ache inside.

She leaned against the window, gazing at the clouds below, lost in a sea of memories. She remembered the nights they spent dancing in each other's arms, the whispered "I love you's" shared under the moonlight, and the countless adventures they embarked on together. Mallory was her rock, her confidante, and her biggest supporter. Whenever Taylor felt overwhelmed by the pressures of the music industry, Mallory was there, offering solace and unconditional love.
