She looked at Luke and slashed her hand in front of her neck indicating that both of their necks are in danger.
He looked at her in confusion and she rolled her eyes and closed them to hold herself a little longer.
The ding of the elevator sounded like heaven's bell.
All of them got out leaving three so Nova pointed at the three men and acted to kill them.
Luke Shook his head with wide eyes and Nova raised her eyebrows giving him a look that clearly said 'Do it now!'.
Luke sighed and she nodded her head flicking her hand stopping her power usage so that they both were now visible and as if the men infront of them noticed their presence got tensed.
"Hey dudes, how are ya'll doing?" Nova rolled her eyes and they both jumped to attack the men infront of them.
The elevator's door dinged and the elevator opened and Nova and Luke came out in guards dress though Nova's was much looser.
"You look like a hanger" Luke muttered straightening his back and Nova rolled her eyes.
"And you looked like you are going to shit in you pants when I told you to kill them and not to mention that stupid dialog you said before attacking them" She pointed her finger in the sky and continued walking while Luke huffed and rolled his eyes before following her.
"Atleast we are still alive" He muttered and started to look around the hallway they ended up in. it was there good luck that they didn't crossed their ways with any of the gaurds and to say it like this it was pretty weird for Nova. it looked like there was no one in the tunnel except them.
"Something is fishy. I can smell it" Luke muttered and Nova nodded in response.
"We should stay on guard" She muttered taking out her revolver and her dagger, holding each of them in both of her hands. [A/N: you know holding her revolver in her right hand and the dagger in her left hand and resting her right wrist over her left one infront of her]
They both reached the end of the tunnel and saw a single gate, Nova looked back at Luke and tilted her head towards the gate and he sighed in response going towards the door and standing at the side while Nova stood just infront of the door with her weapons ready to shoot anyone standing behind the door.
Luke nodded and opened the door to see and big lobby with people standing in a circle with a big dark brown Cross in between and chanting something in some other language while the lobby was lit with a dim golden light.
Luke and Nova looked at eachother before ducking silently and going towards a ladder which took them to the second floor.
when the reached the second floor the saw just a boundary with a railing and nothing else, no room or any other corridor.
They both sat with their front towards the people as they peaked through the gaps of the railing.
"What do you think they are doing?" He asked Nova who looked like she would faint from fear.
"If my guess is right then I can only say that the end of the world is near and we all are going to die" She said with fear evident in her shaky voice.
"What?" Luke asked confused as hell and Nova shook her head instead of explaining anything to him.
"Do me a favour and prove yourself to me so that I can tell you anything" She said and he rolled his eyes.
"What do you want me to do?" He asked raising his eyebrows at her while she gazed back at him with all seriousness.
