New lease on life

Rocky slept peacefully that night knowing he was finally free, he of course had a long ways to go in order to recover. He had no idea what was going to happen next, he knew that he would stay with Skye and Kylie as she did legally adopt him but he couldn't help but think what would happen next.

Rocky woke up to his alarm, he rolled out of bed getting ready for school, as he did this he wondered if yesterday actually happened. He wanted it so badly that he wondered if he dreamt the whole thing. Rocky drank his meds before walking downstairs for breakfast,

Kylie: How are you feeling?

Rocky: I am not sure, I am still trying to figure out if that was real

Kylie: it was he really is dead honey.

Rocky: I oddly feel good I mean I am not sad, I just what happens now?

Kylie: Nothing for you to worry about, you will stay here with us as you are my son and I mean that in everyway Rocky I love you. 

Rocky: thank you, I love you too and was actually thinking If its okay with you if I called you mom

Kylie: I would be honored Rocky

Rocky smiled at her as Skye came downstairs, 

Skye: and what are you going to call me?

Rocky: a pain in my ass

Skye: Rude!

Rocky: I am kidding Skye but I thought it was pretty obvious that you are my sister

Skye: I just wanted to hear you say it

Rocky: Let's go we are going to be late

Skye: Are you feeling better?

Rocky: I have a lot of things to get over Skye but with him being dead it changes a lot for me

Skye: wait he is dead?

Rocky: yes someone in prison killed him for me, I am going to have to go there and thank him

Skye: Your dad is dead?

Rocky: yes

Skye: wow! I mean this is a good thing right?

Rocky: I want to think so yes, but like I said I have a lot of things to still figure out

Skye couldn't believe it but she wondered how he felt about Leah at this point but she was not sure if it was her place to ask. She decided she needed to know and asked,

Skye: are you and Leah going to be okay?

Rocky: are we not okay?

Skye: well you have been ignoring her and she is blaming herself for you trying to kill yourself. She feels like you don't love her anymore.

Rocky: Honestly Skye at this point I don't even really love myself, I am not a good boyfriend for anyone. She might as well just move on to someone else, please just let it go okay I don't want to talk about it

Rocky and Skye arrived at the school and he walked away from her leaving her in shock, she walked up to Everest and Ahri.

Ahri: he doing okay?

Skye: his dad was killed yesterday in prison, I think he is happy he is free but he is still struggling

Everest: really? I just feel so bad for him

Ahri: he has a lot to process, I mean his life sucked for 14 years he needs a chance to piece it back together

Skye: he told me he doesn't love himself and therefore he is not good boyfriend material
