Gwen 10

Episode 10 - adaptation.

We start in the park with ben, Gwen and Elena hanging out.

Gwen: ah, now this is exactly what I needed. No more super hero junk, just a chance to hang out.

Ben: this is boring.

Elena: relax ben. You've been attracting way too much attention lately.

Gwen: you know it's bad when even Jonesy wants to stay out of this.

Elena: he's got a point ben.

Ben: but a little recognition for my work is something I never knew I needed.

Gwen: that's because grandpa tried to do everything to get it out of you.

Ben: whatever, I'm famous hero. You're talking to sharpshot.

Gwen: and it's at times like these, I'm happy mom and dad got me a phone to record these moments with.

Ben: what do you mean?

Gwen: you'll see in about 6 years.

As she stopped the recording, she got a call from max.

Gwen: hey grandpa, what's up?

Max: get your cousin and get down to the RV park.

Gwen: and what about Elena? She's still recovering from Zs'Skayr.

Max: if she's there. Malware's back. Turns out feedback didn't blast him as sky high as we thought.

Gwen immediately hid in the bushes, before changing into XLR8 and grabbing onto the other two, and rushing into the rustbucket.

Gwen: step on it!

Max immediately activated the super turbo mode, and they sped off at the speed of almost sound. Managing to find malware in no time flat as he was attacking a computer lab.

Malware: you three. Seriously? And who's the new one?

Ben made sure he didn't have anything but his mask and Elena powered her chips up.

Ben: what's wrong malware? Afraid of losing again?

Malware: I just need an upgrade.

He touched the computers and they corded to dust before Gwen ran over, watching him with her tail. Ben then tried to encase malware in some mana bands.

Ben: I can't hold him long. Magic doesn't work well with tech, remember.

Gwen: right.

She gave him multiple quick punches as malware looked over at Elena.

Malware: how fortunate you brought me a meal.

He managed to break out of the bands and he lunged at Elena, grabbing onto her he started to drain her chips.

Malware: nothing but energy to take, but I'll take that.

Elena started screaming as Gwen rushed over and slammed her tail into malware causing him to slam against the wall.

Gwen: are you ok?

Elena: he got some of my chips.

She looked around her body and cracked had been formed in the thin amor that the chips had created to protect her.

Hr skin was showing and the chips where racing quickly by deactivating and hiding away in her.

Elena: t least they won't be eaten now.

Ben tried to encase malware again but he just escaped.

Malware: anything you can throw at me, I can adapt to. He stated as he grabbed onto Gwen's tail, flinging her into the wall.
