Chapter 45

Tauji and Chacha ji came back home, Chacha ji was happy as he had found a house in an affordable rate and could shift there in a day or two. They walked in only to be welcomed by an unusual sight in front of their eyes, Chacha ji was shocked to see his wife trying to free herself for this strong looking woman and there were bunch of guards standing surrounding them. "Aree yeh kya, choro isko! aise kyu pakad rakha hai" Tauji yelled. "Sir ne humme aage kuch orders ny diye toh hum inhe ny chor sakte, unhone Ma'am par hamla karne ke koshish ki hai" the lady replied. Well obviously it will seem all over exaggerating, Chachi just grabbed her hand to take her inside and was trying to intimidate her but even that was not okay, for them this was no less than someone attacking their madam. "Vidur kya Sidharth aaya hua hai?" Tauji asked, "Haan" he replied. "Usko bolo Tauji bol rahe hai inhen chorne ke liye" he said and Vidur obliged, he knew Tauji is a nice guy and a father to Shehnaaz.
"Haan ok leave her and ask the guards to take their positions" Sidharth talked on the call  while Shehnaaz was resting on his lap hugging him from his stomach. The moment she heard him talk about the guards she instantly withdraw her head back and stare at him dangerously. "Baby what happened?" he asked pulling her back but she went down the bed and stood there with her hands on either side of her waist. "Sidharth sachi bata kasam lage yeh guard sab tuni hi lagae na mere piche?" her tone was stern and scary, he knew he was gone, he had very well guessed about her reaction after knowing about this. "Tujhe jasusi karni thi meri?" she asked. "Pagal hai kya? mujhe kya milega teri jasusi karke vo toh teri safety ke liye tha dekha ny aaj kaise teri chachi ne react kiya bas mujhe issi baat ka darr tha" he explained. "Vidur tha na phir itne saare ki kya zarurat thi? tujhe pata hai mujhe chid hai yeh sab se" she complained. "Shehnaaz sunn meri baat.... ek toh tujhe har baat 2000 baar samjani parti hai, dekh vo log teri hi safety ke liye hai tere as pas bhatke ny na? Tujhe feel hua vo log tere as pas hai? Nahi na? Toh bas phir .... iss bare mei baat karni hai toh mere se mat kar baat par they will be around you no matter what and that's final" he diclared. He just can't take any risk when it comes to her. "Wroff Wroff" Coco was barking and scratching the door from the outside, Shehnaaz huffed surrendering to him and went to open the door. "Cocoooo Meri Jaan" she squeaked taking it in her arms. "Haan aa gaya VIP..... ab meri taraf toh dhyan hi ny jaye ga.... Cocoooo meri jaan!! Huh!! kabhi mujhe itne pyar se hug kiya hai?" he was talking and sulking in himself, then glaring them both he moved out to meet Grandma. "Hayeee Coco dekh toh kaise ankhe dikha kar gaya hai.... par koi na kidhar jaye ga aana toh mere hi pass hai.... Hayee maine tujhe ek din mei hi kitna miss kiya" she hugged it tightly and it wiggled out of her grip and then ran outside.
Shehnaaz sat on the bed with her legs folded staring towards nothingness. All his saying was replaying inside her head, she has been ignoring things which has eventually affected her, now she'll surely face it once and for all. She didn't wanted to see their faces again but still went downstairs without any fear, not because she knows that Sidharth is around but because of all the courage her heart was filled with after Sidharth consoling her. Fortunately both of them were not there and the food was all set on the dinning table. She noticed Taiji along with the family coming down stairs. "Tu behosh kaise ho gai thi? meri sherni aise kaise weak pad gai?" Tauji hugged her side ways. "Kuch ny hua tha Tauji bas vo ekdum se demag pe zoor aane ki wajha se hua hoga but koi tention ny hai ab aage se kabhi aisa ny hoga" she replied looking towards Sidharth. "Acha aisa.... vo kaise?" Dadi asked as everybody took their seats. "Vo aise ki kise ne mujhe bohot ache se samjhaya hai aur ab mai samjh gai hu...... ab mai kabhi kamzor nahi padu ge chahe akele hi kyu na rahu" the last line disturbed Sidharth a bit, he immediately held her hand under the table frowning at her. "You will never be alone wifey, don't worry I'll be that clingy husband who will never be ready to leave your side" he whispered not gaining anyone's attention and turning her red with his talks. Chacha ji along with Chachi ji walked towards everyone, the smile on their faces were now no more, everybody stared at them with a straight face. Chachi ji was hell bent, her face showed no guilt, Chacha ji looked a little guilty about whatever happened. Chacha joined his hand in front of them "Iske badle mai mafi mangata hu sabse aur Shehnaaz tere se bhi, isne aaj jo harkat ki vo maafi ke layak toh ny par phir bhi ho sake toh maaf kar dena hum kise ko pareshan ny kare ge kal savere hi hum apne ghar chale jaye ge, Veer ji apne humme yaha rehne diya uska shukriya aur aaj apki vajah se hi humme ghar bhi mil gaya" Chacha ji apologised while chachi was looking at him in disbelief, she still believed her husband was doing the moment ridiculous thing by apologizing. "Galti toh pehle bhi ki thi tum dono ne ek...." Tauji was speaking but was stopped by Sana's grandma's coughing. Sidharth notice Shehnaaz getting disturbed after what Tauji said but he chose to keep quiet for now. Nobody said a single word, Shehnaaz had a lot to take out from her heart but she felt as if something was stopping her from lashing out at them and insulting them in front of everyone, it was her code of ethics which was stopping her from doing so. Feeling dejected Chacha ji was leaving Chachi moved ahead of him showing her attitude but Shehnaaz's grandma stopped them. "Khana kha lo tum dono aa jao" she said. After all he was her own blood, she can't see him sleeping empty stomach though they deserved it but a mother's heart can't help but melt down. Chachi ji shamelessly joined them, "Aaja khana kha le" Tauji said after which Chacha ji also joined. Taiji saw the straight face of everyone and talked changing the topic, "Sana putt tuni Itna sab kaam kar liya aaj, bahar kapde sukh rahe hai, khana bhi bana liya itna sara akele, mai aati phir sath mil kar karte hum" she said when Shehnaaz was about to reply Chachi ji unabashedly jumped in between, "Yeh maharani kya kaam kare ge inke toh nokar baithe hai na kaam karne ko" she made an audacious remark irking Sidharth's anger, he have had enough of this lady now Chacha ji asked her to have some shame and keep quiet but who will tell him that this lady was brainless. "Rani toh vo beshak hai Chachi ji, she's my queen aur meri Shehnaaz ek kaam ny kare ge aage se apne ek chiz bhi kaha toh soch lo phir..... maine hi rakhe thi unn sabko iske liye taki isse koi takleef na ho samjhi ap" he said impetuously "Kya!?" Shehnaaz was in shock, what the hell up with her husband, she thought. "Mujhe koi bataye ga ho kya raha hai?" Sana's Grandma asked being irritated as she was unaware about everything, even Tauji and Taiji wanted to know what was up. Sidharth knew he's gone, Shehnaaz would for once consider him keeping guards around her as long as they are not in front of her eyes, but she would not accept him appointing Cooks and cleaners sent from Mumbai without her knowledge. Her head was feeling heavy, she will definitely have a word with him alone later on. "Vidur!!" Shehnaaz called him out who was standing near by "Yes ma'am", "Please explain yeh sab kya ho raha hai apke sir toh kuch bole ge ny" she said sarcastically. Sidharth looked at Vidur as if pleading him to save him and make out some other excuses but Vidur gave him back a helpless shrug and spilled the truth. The family were inwardly happy to see how Sidharth was so caring and loving towards her but at the back of their head they knew how Shehnaaz hated these things, she felt guilty, she felt as if because of her those two had to leave their homes and travel so far unnecessarily just for cooking and cleaning which she can easily do on her own. "Chalo confusion clear ho gaya na ab saare khana khao aur soo jao, already bohot tamasha khada kar diya hai isne" Sana's Grandma said eyeing Chachi ji who was sitting there with an unpleasant face. Sidharth looked at Shehnaaz time to time in between the dinner but she won't even spare a single glance to him, he even secretly tried holding her hand under the table but she would simply just jerk it off. "Chal beta Sidharth acha sa bahana soch le warna teri biwi teri band baja degi..... what is this God? why always me?" he thought cursing his own fate.
