Sbu and I had gone to get something to eat at Mac D and when we walked in, Sisanda and Siya were hugging and Sands had teary eyes. Sbu and I looked at each other.
Sbu: Ahem!
They broke the hug and wiped their tears.
Me: what's going on here?
Siya: nothing friend
Sisa: I need to go
Sands and Siya: no please stay
Sbu and I gave each other that "what the hell" look.
Me: uhhhm ok???
Sisa: no I don't want to impose
Siya: you not. Sit ok
Sbu: are we missing something here?
Sands: these two made up
Me: we can see that
Sbu: the real question is why so sudden?
There was something they weren't telling us.
Siya: I don't think it matters. Thanks for the food, I'm starving
Sbu: Sadly, we catered for 4 we didn't know there was an extra person to buy for
Sands: don't worry I'll share with Sisa
Me: oh
Sisa: I should really go Sandiso
Him: no Sisa you not going anywhere and if anyone has a problem with you being in this room, they can leave
Sbu: huh?
Him: you heard me
Me: Sbu chill. Let's just eat and get along like the friends we all are ok
Siya: Mahle is right. Let's eat and be merry.
Me: so Sisa, how's Joburg?
Sandiso: can't we talk about something else instead.
Me: I didn't know joburg was such a touchy subject. Sorry
Sbu: Sands and Entle are awkward towards each other
Me: oh
Sbu: but I guess now that you and him are cousins he can pursue her right? Mahle
Me: yeah sure
Sisa: you two are cousins?
Sbu: oops. I thought you knew. you being here and all and you and Siya hugging your shiit out
Sands: Sbu stop it!
Sbu: you can't blame me though. I mean she's here and you and Siya refuse for her to go, I thought she knew
Siya: yeah, now she knows
Sands: Mahle and I share a grandfather.
Sisa nodded.
Sisa: wow I'm sorry to hear that. I know how much you two love each other
Sbu: they broke up. He slept with Entle that chick from our building
Sands: Sbu that's enough!
Sbu: she also didn't know that? What exactly does she know really???
Me: uhhm may I please be excused there's a call I need to make
Them: ok
I walked out. I was hurting, not because of the Sisa thing but because Sbu found all of this a laughing stock. He found our problems amusing. I kept blinking continuously hoping the tears wouldn't come out. Siya came after me and she just held me in her arms.
