It was day 4, April 2nd and Sandiso was still lying in that bed not waking up which stressed me more than anything because Sunday he has to go back to school. I was home in the lounge with dad waiting for visiting hours.
Me: father
Him: yes
Me: what did Sino mean when she said especially after everything that's happened?
Him: I don't know princess
Me: did your wife kill Sino's biological mother and caused the accident that killed Sino's adoptive father?
He kept quiet and looked down
Me: answer me dammit!
Him: please calm down
Me: your wife almost killed the mother of your child and you let her be. You stood by her and did nothing!
Him: I'm sorry
Me: I'm not the one you should be apologising to father. You don't even deserve to be called that!

Me: understand what huh? That you would let your wife kill your own flesh just so she can be happy and threat free huh?
He kept quiet.
Me: answer me dammit
I guess I was loud enough for my husband to hear because he came rushing to the lounge.
Me: it's all your fault my son is in a hospital bed right now fighting for his life. It's your fault!
I grabbed my keys and drove off to visit my son. When I got there Mahle, Siya and Sbu were in the waiting room.
Me: kids
Them: Hello Mah
Me: any news?
Siya: no nothing yet Mrs L
Me: ok thanks baby. Mahle may I talk to you in private?
Her: ok Mrs L.
I stood up and followed her to a more private corner.
Her: Mrs L
Me: your mom told me she told you
Her: Yep
She had zero emotion which worried me. She was nothing like her mother. I wished to know what she was thinking but nothing. I couldn't get any emotion from her, she was subtle.
Me: how are you holding up?
Her: I'm ok I guess
Me: you sure?
Her: Mrs L you and my mother share a father which makes your son and I cousins. Honestly I don't know how to handle all of this, I don't know how to take all of this in and just go about my life. If it's anything I'm sad because he is lying in there helplessly and I can't help but feel it's my fault
Me: it's not your fault. You didn't drive straight into my son's car
Her: speaking of which. This person who smashed Sandiso, have they been arrested?
Me: they waiting for Liam to wake so they can take his statement
Her: but he drove into him
Me: he may have, but it doesn't change the fact that Liam was driving under the influence
Her: but Sandiso is careful Mah. Drunk or not he can control his car
Me: you may know that honey but the fact remains the same and the police don't know that
