1, 2, 3 Oneshots || NCT and The Boyz

🔵 One and Only [Changmin Centric]

Changmin was their pride and joy. He was their main dancer, their sub-vocalist, their performing machine, and most importantly, their precious bundle of joy. Without him in their group, things wouldn't be the same- either with their performances or their lives.

Sometimes, Changmin pushes himself too hard just to make sure everything was perfect. No matter how much the others try to get him to rest, he wouldn't do such thing. He needed everything to be amazing.

And though they were all annoyed on how much Changmin would overwork himself, they were thankful for him. Without him pushing everyone to do their best, their performances wouldn't be as great as they were. 

Another thing was whenever Changmin would notice a member looking down and gloomy, he would do everything in his power to make them happy again. When a member was sick, he would take the time to take care of them.

There was this one time when Chanhee felt defeated, not being able to get a step right- Changmin noticed this and started to pay more attention to the boy. He helped him get the steps right until they were all back on track.

There was also another time when Younghoon caught a cold and Changmin insisted on being the one to care for the older with the help of Sangyeon and Jacob, of course. No one knows what they'll do without the boy.

Changmin was also somewhat in-charge with the mood of the group. The main mood maker of the group would be Eric and Kevin, but when those two were unavailable, Changmin was always there to save the day! I mean- look at the squirrel attack.

Best time of everyone's lives. Trying not to get bitten by a slightly drunk squirrel that had a petty vendetta against Chanhee that day was enjoyable to say the least. None of them were traumatized, at all. (This is sarcastic if you didn't catch that)

When a member would watch a horror film, Changmin was the best person to watch it with. That horror, Chucky and Annabelle loving boy is sure to make any member's horror film experience memorable. Though usually, the member would leave slightly traumatized.

Over all, The Boyz would never be The Boyz without Changmin. He was their special member and without him, the group dynamic would crumble. After a long day of work and stress, The Boyz would always end the day cuddling with their favorite squirrel.

A/N: This is the first oneshot I wrote that is under 500 words and doesn't have any dialogue. This just seems like a Changmin appreciation chapter and I hope my Fellow Tangerines like the appreciation chapter (though I feel like this isn't as good as my other oneshots since it isn't like my other oneshots 😅)
