Request: @findingsangmil (I hope this chapter is fine 😁 and I am so sorry it took a while 😅)

A/N: This is literally the longest oneshot I've made- not too proud of how I wrote it but I think it's good enough.. I think-

Leaders were supposed to be strong. They were supposed to be the backbone of the group, being there for each and every member to lean and depend on. How can he be a good leader when he can't do any of those things?

At first, Sangyeon thought it wasn't a big deal. He was just going to lead the rest of The Boyz in everything, from awarding to personal things. What he wasn't prepared for was the pressure of having to make sure everything- everyone was perfect.

How was he supposed to make sure everyone was perfect when he himself wasn't. He was slowly loosing himself in making sure his- their group stayed perfect. The pressure to make sure all of his members were alright was slowly eating him alive.

He had to make sure none of them got into scandals, none of them got hurt and that none of them does anything to ruin their reputation. Whenever they got into a scandal, Sangyeon as always the first one to be scolded, being the eldest and the leader.

He had to make sure that the specific member that was involved in the scandal was alright, then he proceeds to tell them what the company told him, then he helps them make apology letters for the public. Though he sometimes doesn't see why they had to make an apology letter.

Other than that pressure to make sure his members were alright, he was also pressuring himself with all of the comments telling him he needs to improve on... certain aspects. From his face, to his body, to his dancing, to his singing- he has read it all.

Sometimes he just wonders if joining The Boyz was the right choice. He has always loved singing, and dancing was a new hobby that he picked up after training. But was all of this pressure really worth it?

He had to be strong. He couldn't let his emotions- his stressed be known to the group or to their fans. He was their leader, he was the eldest- he wasn't supposed to be helpless. He was supposed to be there for others, not the other way around.

He broke. It was only a matter of time until the walls Sangyeon built up to make sure he was strong for others would break. The only thing he could think at that very moment was, 'Why now? Why did I have to break now?'

They were all in the dorms together. They were back from their vacation though, it would end in a weeks time. Don't ask them why but they just thought it was a great idea that they should spend the last week of vacation together.

Everything was going great, amazing even. That was until Sangyeon got notified of something from the company. "Have you heard of Q and Younghoon's recent scandals?" The CEO said. Sangyeon shook his head.

"Younghoon's was about telling The B a joke that this was his actual number, not knowing that that number was someone's actual number.." Sangyeon nodded numbly at the CEO's words. "And Changmin's... A lot of people were involved as well."

"He went on live and told The Bs to not take pictures on him during his vacation period. Some people started bashing him, saying that he should be thankful that he was getting recognized." Sangyeon gasped in anger.

"HE JUST WANTED HIS PRIVACY-" "That is not an excuse." The CEO said. "He should apologize to the fans, as well as Younghoon. Is that clear?" As much as Sangyeon wanted to retort, he just nodded. "Good- there should be an apology letter by the end of the day."
