Start from the beginning

"Stark, I will be sure to capture it alive so it may tell us where Peter is, do not worry!" She shouted, leaping over a couch as Peter slid across the ceiling.

Bucky grabbed a pillow as he leaped over it as well, tossing it at an angle where it would
ricochet somewhere between her stomach and her face. Apparently, this did not matter, because she just rolled underneath it before throwing her first dagger.

"Tony!" Peter yelled, barley skimming his luck by dodging it, using this as a chance to start running in the opposite direction above her as a means to not get cornered.

He knew this was a big misunderstanding and all, but that did not help how scared shitless he was right now.

He darted over Bucky's head, throwing himself to the floor in trust that Bucky would be able to calm her down for communication.

He did not take into consideration that her drive to save them was stronger than her resistance to kick Bucky flying into the cushions.

Now, he was cornered in the same room as an expensive tv and hand-carved wood/glass table that did not look like it would survive Peter's body weight.

"What have you done with the boy?" she sneered, partially confused about how there were no claws on the creature now, but willing to overlook it in the urgency.

Instead of waiting for an answer, she attempted to restrain him.

Her skill level was definitely above the average Joe he fought, and it made it so much worse that he'd been out of training for quite some time too. He was slower than normal, and barley dodging her harmless little stabs. His joints were stiff and he could've sworn his back popping could be heard from across the wood when he limbo'd his way out of a punch.

There was one move he felt coming, amongst the fury of them she kept a linear pace on, but he had no way to dodge it. Instead of resisting, he let her grab him in a neck lock before springing himself from the ground. With his buff legs and her combined surprise, he managed to fling her with his body to the point where his feet were the only ones secure to the floor, and from there, he simply pried her arms off of him and held them to her back as he sent her kneeling to the floor.

"You won't get away with this!" She shouted, flinging her head back.

In the split second all of this occurred, Bucky was back in action and held her in a restraining hug as Peter stepped back to breathe.

Holy shit, he just took down an avenger. An entire assassin avenger. Like— he did that.

He was panting hard, and Tony made sure to stand close to him in case he'd fall once he'd managed to catch up with the supers.

"You don't understand, he's—"

"One of us" Tony cut off, "I know he can climb on walls".

She sat there wide-eyed for a moment, regret blatant on her face. She was went silent, shutting her mouth.

Bucky, still morally confused, just loosened his grip to let her go. He had no clue what was happening, honestly. He was just trying to be a peacemaker.

Nebula looked at everyone's faces, all cautionary of what her next action would be.

She looked at Peter. He looked like a mix of fear and excitement from that. Probably a pride thing. But she'd just attacked him in his own home.
