I apologize in advance, I don't know how to spell caprisun, don't kill me yet please.

Nebula laid facing the ceiling, tossing an apple up and down. She was in her room, thinking about dinner's activities.

Yknow, when she found out Peter came from hell too.

It was easy enough to see when you've experienced it, even if the results are different. Nebula liked her hardened exterior, people shut up around her. No having to listen to annoying rants of people she didn't care about. Plus, the shell was slit just enough for her to feel comfortable telling people randomly in order to take control of their uncomfortableness. It was already resolved. No point in denying it.

Peter? Nearly the exact opposite. Plus, Peter sucked ass at pretending things were hypothetical. He had so many things most people would consider a deep conversation-topic thing ready to go, that it almost perfectly shielded the things he actually wanted to hide. Honestly one of the scariest things for victims to learn. One of the many problems included, Nebula didn't know how to approach this situation on earth.

If it was her dad, and at one point it was, she'd've slit his throat as soon as she realized. If she failed, she'd try again. Peter? Nebula doubted he'd even kill someone actively trying to kill him. Dam* kid cried so fast when she figured it out. He had a right to, but it almost made her jealous.

The apple exploded in her hand. Oops.

All in all, It was a complicated situation.

While she cleaned up the sticky mess, her mind went racing.

She can't just go murdering civilians, Steve had made it clear on that. Tony seemed to bend the laws a lot, but even seeing past his jokes showed that homicide is not a go-to solution if you want to be allowed to stay.

So that was out.

Unless..

If whatever was happening at home with Peter was considered criminal here.. she wouldn't be a civilian, now would she?

Nebula stopped cleaning the apple guts for a second.

"I'm gonna commit a crime" she whispered to herself, a small grin reaching her face in her brilliance to overcome the law.

How come no human had thought of this before? Killing someone who was bad?? They do it all the time in almost every planet she visited, but she thought it'd probably be illegal here. According to Steve, civilians shouldn't be killed. Peter's You-Know-Who (not Voldemort, he's still getting milk) hasn't been a civilian since she came into contact with him!

Brilliant.

Now all she had to do was find an address and plan a happy little accident.

Her plans were temporarily foiled when a knock came to her door.

"Who is it" Nebula kept a flat tone as she slowly shut the laptop she'd been using to try and find Peter's address with.

"Bucky. I want to talk to you." A deep voice rang from the other side of her haven-dome.

She sat for a second.

"..Two minutes" Nebula called out reluctantly.

Bucky opened the door, shutting it softly behind him. He had a little bag in his arms.

Nebula set the laptop aside. Of all the people in this tower, Bucky was one of the more bearable ones. He'd never actually tried speaking to her other than awkward situations when they were stuck in rooms together. It seemed to be an ongoing Thing with him.
