KIARA'S POV

Hmm...this chocolate is so YuMmY.

"Hey!" someone said and I upped my face to see who it was. 

Um...I have seen him somewhere...but who is he...?

"Are you a baby? Eat properly, you grown-up women!" He said after scanning me from head to toe.

"Who are you?" I asked him faking like an innocent.

"You don't know me? Shaurya didn't tell you? He didn't tell anything about our friendship? Woah, the audacity of that bastard," he started to talk to himself.

"We met each other yesterday only, so maybe he forgot. Who are you?" I asked him again.

"I ammmmm the faaaanntaaasttiiicccc, ennnneergeeneetiic, escasssticcc, faaaabuullooouss, mar-" He was pulling it so much that I cut him off.

"Tha chii, solli thola," I said as I gave him a 'you-are-a-pacca-mental-patient.'

Translation: tha chii, solli thola= tha chii, say it already.

"Vinay Khurana, his one and only true and loyal best friend from childhood," he said as he had a proud look on his face as if he achieved something good after so many years.

Oh...I remember now. He was the guy with whom Shaurya used to roam, the complete opposite of Shaurya, and most importantly, he was Aadhya's crush. Lol, I didn't know that they were friends till now. Shaurya and Kiara then Vinay and Aadhya. Wow. 

"Hello, hello, where are you lost, madam?" He asked me waving his hands in front of my face which removed my heart eyes making me glare at him.

"Haha- go and wash your face first, you are looking so damn funny now." He said and acted as if he was trying to control his laugh.

I washed my whole face and then came Tara. "Tis- oh you already wiped your face," she said and sighed.

"Yes Anni, you were taking decades to bring tissue so she washed her face," Vinay said, and only then did she notice him standing there.

"Oh, Vinay! When did you come?" she asked with a huge smile as if she saw her child who came back from school. Shaurya and Vinay are indeed like children for her.

"Yes Anni, Mom told me that sOMe SsPeCIaLL pEoPle are coming and I have to be here, so I came Anni," he said and hugged her, Tara saw me shaking my head at him and giggled looking at us.

"Ok, you both go, I will prepare the dinner and come," she said and shooed us away.

We went to the living room and saw a priest sitting on the sofa. They were busy discussing. I saw shaurya standing in a corner with folded hands and with an uninterested look. He noticed me staring at him and I waved my hands at him to make it less awkward and he smiled at me awkwardly. 

Why? What happened?

I went and sat near my mom and when she noticed me, she smiled at me. His mom smiled at me and said "Always be happy." I responded a feeble yes with a meek smile and looked around, even his dad and my dad smiled at me as if I am one of the lucky bitch.

"What happened, mom? Why are you guys smiling at me weirdly?" I whispered to my mom, eyeing all of them in the hall.

"After checking yours and Mapla's Horoscope, the priest said that all the 10 perfections are perfect," she said and it would be a lie if I said that I didn't blush. A little maybe?

"And, he also said, that Mapla will not leave your side and will stick with you forever," she said giggling and I blushed again.

I awkwardly laughed and looked around, my family and my future family were trying to control their laughter, Vinay gave shaurya a teasing smile and shaurya was looking down, all embarrassed.
