Hello new characters

"Okay and? I made it didn't I?" He breathed, turning a corner swiftly.

"Barley, if you're late on your first day back then your screwdriver privileges are gone again, sport" Tony threatened jokingly.

"Noo" Peter's voice was bumpy as he ran up the stairs, "I just got those back!"

"Shame" Tony uttered, "but seriously, I'll let you go now. Be safe, have a good day, write down any bully's name's and addresses, and text me how me and my buddy Shnled are doing" Tony reminded.

"His name is Ned, and will do. Don't blow anything up, Bloom's case is off and that'd ruin my progress" he half-yelled, sprinting down the hallway between some kids who were still on their way.

"Deal. Toodles little Padawan"

"Bye—" the phone beep cut him off, signaling that the call was over.

He shoved the phone into his pocket, coming up to the door of his first period, making it through the doorway just as the bell rang.

He sighed a sigh or relief, giving a wave to the surprised teacher.

"Peter! Welcome back! I got the emails, don't worry, just sit down and I'll hand you the worksheet we started yesterday" ms Jenkins informed, waltzing over to her desk.

Peter avoided the gaze of the class as he made his way to an empty seat.

"Dude, where the hell have you been" Eugene whispered sharply as Peter sat down, causing him to jump.

Peter didn't realize who he'd sat next to, as he was still focused on being around so many people for the first time in a long time.

"Uh.." he looked down, wide eyes, unsure how to answer.

"What business did Iron Man have there? Do you know him?? Bro, Reginald has been missing ever since the whole Iron man thing, dude. My dad was pissed when he got back. What happened to you?" Eugene looked over to the teacher, scooting closer to Peter while he jotted down what she wrote on the board.

Someone came by and handed Peter the notes, and he started on the number she was going over, trying to avoid Flash's gaze as he thought of an answer.

Stephen had gone over Reginald's whole story. It was a long ordeal, but to put it simply, he was mostly in the clear. He went undercover and was half of the reason Stark's mess was so much easier to clean up than it could've been. He'd gone off the radar after that, primarily because of how terrible it made him feel about the world.

After he and Peter talked, a very very long talk, Reginald was set under Shield's care to be sure there was nothing else they needed to keep an eye on. Currently, Peter heard that Tony was considering him as a body guard. Just.. one that worked far, far away from him, due to the memories his face brought up.

So how to explain this to someone whiteout letting on the serious amount of inside info Peter was able to receive?

"Uhm.. we'll you see.." he racked his brain for anything that he could blame it in without it somehow finding it's way back to him, "uh.. the butler guy was suspected for some shady stuff. I think mr Stark thought something else was going on when he saw me and stuff, because you know.. I looked like crap" he chuckled dryly, hoping it would pass.

"Shit, man. That's crazy. Where have you been hiding out? You look great by the way. Medical-wise, I mean. Like— I thought you'd be more beat up or something" he laughed, overwhelmed with all of the questions he had.

"I uh.. have some.. friends.. I was staying with.. but uh, I'll have some new legal guardians by next month, so it doesn't really matter" he shrugged, trying to seem as nonchalant about it as he could, "one of them is a doctor".
